(JIMIN'S POV)
My muscles ache, Taehyung hugged me tightly all night—I'm not complaining, but I couldn't move at all because the space is hardly enough for both of us. Jungkook slept in the long part of the sofa, where Taehyung and I could've fit perfectly.
"My back's killing me." I whine.
Yoongi laughs. "I couldn't've slept better."
"It's not fair! I won't sleep here another night!" I cross my arms. "Namjoon, find me another sofa."
"I'm sure you can do that yourself." He takes another bite of his apple, his eyes lost in the small living room.
"Namjoon!" I pull him by the arm. "Please! If I've to stay here, at least find me another couch, or another bed."
"I don't promise you anything. See you later."
He stands up and walks towards the door, leaving the bitten apple on the table. Where the heck is the bin in this house?
"Wait, where are you going?" I ask.
"Business. Don't go out alone."
He doesn't look back before closing the door.
"What the heck's wrong with him?"
I turn to Seokjin, who throw the apple away. He smiles, but I can notice a shade of sadness on it, and on his eyes as well.
"Let's find something for you, Jimin." Seokjin says, before grabbing his coat.
I follow his actions. I don't forget to peck Taehyung's lips before getting out the cabin.
(NAMJOON'S POV)
"We've got an army ready to fight." The king says, while a man is filling a cup with tea. "Do you want some?"
I shake my head.
"So, you're willing to help us no matter what?" I ask, to reassure myself everything's going to be alright.
"Do I look like I'm doubting?"
I shake my head. "Thanks for everything, sir. Also. . . How can we get food, clothes. . . ? We don't have your money."
"My men will bring you everything you need."
"Thank you." I bow. "By the way, can they bring another mattress? We're struggling with the space."
"I see. I'll let them know. Come back later with the others, I'll be waiting."
"We won't be late, sir."
(YOONGI'S POV)
Seokjin and Jimin are struggling to get in the house with what it looks like and old, filthy matress.
"Whoa, whoa! What's that?" I take a few steps back.
"Jungkook's new bed." Jimin says, pushing it.
The younger raises his head. "I'm not sleeping in that."
"Jiminie, where did you get it from?" Taehyung asks, helping them to put it inside.
"We found it, they didn't need it anymore." Jimin shrugs.
"Hyung, why did you let him take it?" I ask. "It's disgusting."
They place it next to the sofa. "That's how things work in this world. We only need to cover it with clean cloths and it will look like new."
"It would look better." Hoseok says, chuckling.
Jungkook frowns. "I'm still not using it."
"I want to sleep with Taehyung in the sofa comfortably." Jimin whines. "My back's still aching."
"Sorry, I was scared." Taehyung mumbles. Jimin whispers something into his ear and kisses his head. Taehyung shows his boxy smile.
I roll my eyes, couples are adorably disgusting.
Seokjin looks around for a few seconds. "Namjoon didn't come back yet?"
Speaking of his boyfriend, he opens the door and everyone turns around to look at him. No one says anything, we don't know where he has been for the past few hours.
He walks closer, frowning. We're in a circle, Jungkook and I are on the sofa. "What is that?" He points out the mattress.
Jungkook snorts. "My new bed."
"Oh, but I already asked the king to bring a new one for you."
"Were you with the king?" Seokjin says, raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah. We need food and need clothes. He said his men are going to bring everything we need. Don't forget we've a date with the king this evening. Please, don't be late." He shows us his dimples and goes upstairs.
Seokjin shakes his head for a few moments and follows him, sighing.
"What do we do with this one?" Jimin asks, scratching his head.
"Just leave it outside." I say, looking at it. "But I'm not helping you."
(SEOKJIN'S POV)
"Why didn't you tell us you were visiting the king?" I ask, without hesitation. "You're acting strange since what happened yesterday."
"No, I'm not. The king wanted to see me alone, I didn't think it was necessary telling you where I was going. Even though I did it, didn't I?" He raises an eyebrow, hiding both of his hands in his pockets.
I sigh. "Yes, you're. Why are you acting like this? Did I do something wrong? Are you mad at me?"
"Why would I?" He shrugs.
I sigh, not dropping my intense gaze. "Look, when you come back to your normal self, let me know. I won't lose my time with you."
"What are you talking about, Jin?"
"I wish the Namjoon who gifted me this necklace came back."
"I think you're being sensitive, love. Is it because of yesterday? I was mad at 'em, not you."
I touch my nose. "Then talk to me, don't ignore me."
He gets closer and his arms find their way to my waist. "I'm sorry. I'm just nervous and a bit scared, my intention wasn't to hurt you."
I nod.
"Can you forgive me, please?"
"I may be a little sensitive."
"No, you've all the right to point out when I'm being a jerk. I love you."
"I love you, too."
I hug him, resting my head on his chest and my hands on his neck.
