A mess

And what we saw inside is... A mess

"What is this"

I heard someone mutter from my side. It was Sakurai-san.

We put our shoes down in a corner, and I wore my slippers. Of course, I offered Sakurai slippers too. She was worried about their cleanliness, so I reassured her that I keep them in a safe place. After hesitating for a bit, she finally accepted and wore it.

As we were walking through the hallway to my living room. We saw paper scattered everywhere. And as we stepped into the living room, we saw stacked light novels and manga spread out on the floor.

It turns out that my window was left open and it blew wind into my house, causing the random pieces of paper to fly around. I was rushing my assignment at morning, so I probably forgot to clean them up...

"Inoue-san... this is..." She muttered in a small voice

"Yeah, sorry about this. It looks like I kept my window open and forgot to close it before I left for school. The wind probably scattered the paper around the house." I apologized.

"That too, but it's not just that, your books as well... They're scattered around everywhere."

"Oh yeah..."

But I thought they were pretty organized, though? I stacked the novel/manga volumes in order. But because I was too lazy, I didn't put them back on their bookshelves.

"Anyway, just lay down on the sofa and I'll quickly clean them up and cook you some food."

"Okay?"

Although I am still confused about what's currently happening, I just thanked her, sitting down on the sofa to read some unfinished novels.

But as I was opening a book, I heard her say something.

"Don't you have any lewd books that you'd like to hide from me?"

"Don't worry, I keep those things digitally"

"Oh... okay." she said.

"So you do have them huh..." She followed up in a small voice and blushed.

Well, I guess it's normal for a pure girl like her would be embarrassed about those things.

But I lied about owning those things. I actually don't own them but I said that I do just to see what Sakurai's reaction will be. I was not disappointed.

Anyways, I got down to reading my novel.

If you're wondering what the house looks like, then let me explain.

My parents bought this house here in Tokyo for me and when they sometimes come here for their work. It has 2 floors. There are 3 rooms, a bathroom and a balcony on the second floor. And the first floor is divided into 4. The living room, the kitchen, a water closet and a library.

The Kitchen was visible from the living room, but it's so big that you can probably call it a room too. The living room and the kitchen is separated only by a long kitchen counter.

Also, the living room has a big sofa, 2 chairs and a small table. There's also a big table behind the counter in the kitchen which is used if there are more than 2 people eating.

After a few minutes, Sakurai-san finally finished cleaning. She then went to the kitchen and got ready to cook. But, a few minutes has passed and as I was flipping through my novel, I noticed something. Sakurai-san still hasn't started cooking yet. She was panicking and looked confused.

At this moment, a thought came to my mind. It can't be... right?

And so I asked her:

"Sakurai-san... you can cook... right?" After hearing this, she froze. And after a few seconds of silence, she awkwardly turned around and said, "O-Of course..."

She Lied...
