Watching Anime With The Prettiest Girl In My School

*beep* *beep* *beep* *bee-

"Mmm…" *creak*

"Ha~… 7 am huh… I guess I'll make toast."

..

.

..

"Final exams are coming soon, we hope that the students stay motivated and pass their exams this semester"

Final exams huh…

I am currently eating toast for breakfast and watching TV. I then looked around my house and noticed how messy it is.

"Hmm"

I guess I'll clean up.

"Yosh"

My house is pretty clean now. I even cleaned the unused rooms upstairs. I then looked at my phone and saw the time. It was already 11 am. I ate leftovers for lunch and take a shower.

*ding* *dong*

Hearing the doorbell, I stood up from the sofa and went to the door. I looked at the screen connected to the camera of our doorbell. It was Sakurai. She looked confused as to why there was a camera there, so I started talking to her.

"Is that you Sakurai-san?"

Hearing this, she looked flustered. But after realising that the sound came from the doorbell, she calmed down.

"Yes, it's me. Is that you, Inoue-kun?"

"Yes, just wait a sec. I'm about to open the door"

"Ok."

I then opened the door and let Sakurai into the house.

"Come in"

"Thank you"

After entering, she stared at the screen near the door displaying what's seen in the camera. I just recently installed it so she didn't see it before.

"Technology is amazing huh…"

"It is." I said as I got her slippers ready and went inside the living room. Sakurai then soon followed me and I told her to sit on the sofa. I went to the kitchen and got 2 bowls. In those bowls are two different flavors of popcorn.

One has a normal plain salted popcorn and the other bowl is full of salted caramel popcorn. I brought them on the table in front of the sofa and sat down on the other side of the sofa away from Sakurai.

"So what are we watching?"

"C-off"

"What?"

"It's a moe anime made by a legendary animation studio. Instead of having a grand plot, it focuses on character relationships and the chemistry between them. It's supposed to be a music anime but most of the time it's just the main characters eating cakes and drinking tea."

"Inoue-san…" she said in a weird voice.

"What?"

"You're weird."

"I'll take that as a compliment."

"Sure…"

"Anyway, feel free to eat popcorn. I'm just going to get the Blu-ray disks"

"Uh sure…"

I then got up from the sofa again got the Blu-ray set and played it in the T.V. I sat in the sofa again and asked Sakurai a question.

"Hey Sakurai, when was the last time you watched an anime?"

"Hmm… When I was 8 years old? I think?"

"He~ I guess this'll be your first anime in a while then."

"It is."

We then watched the first season for 5 hours. We ate other snacks beside popcorn, we also ate cold pieces of jackfruit, apples and grapes. It was a really refreshing snack.

Sakurai-san didn't like the smell of jackfruit at first, but after tasting it, she didn't mind the smell anymore because it was delicious. Also, Sakurai-san only ate the salted caramel popcorn while I only ate the plain salted popcorn.

I guess she likes sweet things, huh…

Realising that It's almost time for dinner, I went to the kitchen and started preparing. But Sakurai stopped me.

"Hey"

"What"

"Can I help you cook this time?" She asked.

"Why?"

"I feel bad because I keep making you cook for me. Also, I want to improve my culinary skills too…"

"Hmmm…" After thinking about it, I let her cook with me.

"Sure."

"Thank you."

"But, you can only help me cut vegetables."

"Eh?" She looked dumbfounded.

"I can't trust you with cooking yet. We'll have to start from the basics, okay?"

"Eh? But… sure…" She looked reluctant, but finally agreed. She then asked me what we are going to cook.

"So what are we going to cook?"

"Fried rice." I said.

"Fried rice?" She tilted her head, confused.

"I have leftover rice from lunch, so I decided to make fried rice."

"I see…"

"Do you have any complaints?"

"I don't. Anyway, I hope you take care of me this lesson." She said as she bowed.

"Please don't bow, also don't worry because your tasks will be easy." I said.

"Ok."

All right, time to bring out my wok.
