Chapter 35 Shooting The Commercial (1)

It was Monday morning, the day Kara was going to be shooting her commercial for L.X Designs.

She woke up that morning looking radiant and energetic.

"Mom! My make-up artist and stylist, are they here yet?? Kara asked her mom while descending the stairs.

"No Baby girl, I thought they were going to meet you at the commercials??? Mrs.Katherine asked Kara.

"Mom!!!!! Kara called.

"What???...Can't You see that I'm on an important call here??? Mrs.Katherine asked slightly irritated.

"Sorry for disturbing You mom, but I need to get dressed for the shoot, I need my make-up artist and stylist here," Kara said to her mother with a pitiful face.

.........Mrs.Katherine just ignored her.

"Mom!!!! Kara called loudly while shaking her mother's hands like a child desperate for a mother's affection.

"What?????? Mrs. Katherine asked angrily, here she was trying to secure a movie collaboration for her company, and here her daughter is totally disturbing her concentration.

"Mom, please help me out here! Kara pouted cutely with her puppy dog eyes.

"No! You do not show me those puppy eyes, ah-ah, I'm not falling for it! Mrs.Katherine said to Kara sternly.

"But Mom!! Kara called.

"Kara Stewart, You are disturbing me, for the love of God, please go get yourself dressed! or ask Rebecca or any of the servants to help you, stop diverting my concentration here, please I beg You! Mrs.Katherine said to Kara while exiting the living room, heading towards the garden

"It's not like I can't dress, I just need to look pretty for the cameras, It's Lin's company commercial we are talking about here! I don't want to let her down," Kara said to herself frowning while climbing the stairs heading towards her room.

Kara got into her room and went straight to her walk-in closet, she ransacked her clothes, looking for the perfect clothes to wear when someone called her, diverting her concentration from her closet.

"Who is there??? She asked a little scared, the voice she was hearing was alien to her, she knew none of her servants had such a deep voice.

............ (No answer)

"Show Yourself now, or I'll call security! Kara said, a little bit terrified.

"No need for that Princess, I was sent by someone to give you these! The voice who turned out to be Tyler said to Kara while chuckling as he came out from his hiding place.

"What's that??...And how did you get here?? Kara asked in disbelief and a little bit terrified.

"Well, about the question "What's that?? You have to see for yourself, and about that "How did I get here??...Well, let's just say your bodyguards are no match for me," Tyler said to Kara shrugging his shoulders.

"Who the hell are you??? Kara asked totally terrified.

"No, please don't be scared Princess, you can't be scared, the last thing I want now is for you to be scared," Tyler said to Kara in a panic tone.

"What are You talking about??? Kara asked with a raised brow, a little bit confused and amused by Tyler's behavior.

"First of all let me introduce myself, I'm Tyler the.......Tyler immediately kept quiet when he realized he had almost blown Joffrey's secret.

"The what??? Kara asked with a raised brow.

"I mean the best friend of the person you've been missing and looking for, he sent me here to give you those! Tyler lied swiftly trying to maintain Joffrey's secret.

Tyler has been observing and following Kara from the shadows, so he knew everything Kara has been up to, he was asked by Prince Joffrey to plant little cameras in the Stewart mansion, with the claim that he misses her so much and he needed to know how his love is doing.

Kara went to where Tyler was standing and picked the bags, she opened the bags and was shocked by the contents of the bag.

Inside the bag was a red silk gown designed with diamonds and sapphires weighing about 35 carats, making the gown enchanting.

There was also a red diamond stiletto in the bag, these were all customized products of L.X Designs.

"Jeff....Jeff...Jeff....Jeffrey sent you to bring these to me?? Kara asked in shock and disbelief, she couldn't believe that the gown she had always wanted to own was staring at her in the face right now.

For as far as she knows, that particular gown was customized for two people, the Princess of Calpurnia Kingdom and the Princess of Echancia Empire.

"Well, Yeah! Tyler said warmly while shrugging his shoulders.

"What?????? Kara asked yelling.

"I'm sorry Princess, did he do something wrong???? Tyler panickly asked a bit confused.

"You think???? He's a freaking laundry staff! How did he get the money to purchase this??? Kara asked Tyler in a raised voice.

"Princess, please calm down, Jo.....I mean Jeffrey wanted to make you happy, so his life savings among with the money his late father left for him was used to purchase that dress! Tyler lied swiftly.

"He did that??? Kara asked Tyler emotionally

"Yeah, he did! Tyler replied while sighing in relief, he couldn't believe he almost blew his boss cover.

"Wh.....Where is he now??...Is he still hospitalized??? Kara asked panickly.

Who could blame her? She hasn't seen the love of her life for months now.

"Princess calm down, he wants me to tell you that he is doing fine and he misses you so much, he said he is impressed by your smartness for being able to figure out his identity," Tyler said nonchalantly to Kara.

"He is impressed???...But where is he now???...Why hasn't he resumed work yet??? Kara bombarded Tyler with questions.

"He has a lot on his plate right now, and I wish I could tell you what it is, but he should be the one to tell you himself, not me, but I promise he will be back soon," Tyler painstakingly defended Joffrey.

"Tell him I miss him so much and I appreciate the dress he bought for me! Kara emotionally replied happily.

"I will pass your message to him, my work here is done and I'll be taking my leave now, it was nice meeting you in person Princess," Tyler said to Kara while exiting the room.

"The feeling is mutual, Mr.Tyler, I hope to see you soon! Kara said to Tyler while smiling brightly.

"Soon enough Princess! Tyler said to Kara with a wink while shutting the door of Kara's room.

Kara immediately picked up the bags from the floor and dropped them on the couch.

She took the red silk gown designed with diamonds and sapphires and wore them along with the red diamond stiletto.

She was looking astoundingly gorgeous in the dress, she was impressed that a guy will spend a whole lot of money, just to make her happy.

"Your father might have been so rich to leave such huge money for you," Kara said to herself softly.

"I promise I won't let you down, I'll cherish this gown you gave me and I'll try to work hard, so I can be worth calling your wife when I grow up! Kara solemnly swore to herself.

Thirty minutes later, Kara came out from the mansion and went to the parked limousines waiting for her at the driveway.

"Wow, You look stunning and gorgeous!. Mrs.Katherine said to Kara warmly.

"Thanks, Mom! Kara said to her mom with a bright smile.

"But Kara??...This gown??...It strikes me with its familiarity! Mrs.Katherine said with a pause.

"Oh! Now I remember, this is one of the rare gowns of L.X Designs! Mrs.Katherine exclaimed.

"Yeah! Kara replied warmly.

"But I don't seem to remember when we bought this rarely customized gown, Did Lin give you this gown because you are now their ambassador??? Mrs.Katherine asked Kara anxiously.

"No, she didn't," Kara replied her mom warmly.

"Then who did??? Mrs.Katherine asked Kara feeling confused.

"Someone Special! Kara replied with a blush etching on her smooth face.

"Oh! I see, your lover boy, that boy is weird, there's something about him and I can't quite put my finger on it! Mrs.Katherine said to Kara in deep thought.

"Mom, there's nothing weird about him, he's the sweetest guy I know, he used the money his dad left him to get me this gown," Kara defended Jeffrey while pointing to her dress.

"Oh, I see! Then his father must be very rich to leave such an amount of money for him, so why is he a laundry staff then?? Mrs.Katherine asked Kara.

.........Kara kept silent not knowing what to say, this question her mom asked hit her hard.

"He should have used the money to further his education or better still do something with his life with the money, opening a business with such money would make him successful, but he chooses to spend it on a relationship he isn't even sure would happen! Kara, you see why I said there's something weird about him???...He's totally weird Kara! Mrs.Katherine said to Kara while entering the limousine.

"Mom, You don't know that, I know it's crazy but I love him and he loves me, how can we not be perfect for each other?? Kara asked her mom while entering the limousine.

"Kara, You are twelve years old! What should a twelve years old girl know about love?? Mrs.Katherine asked Kara?

"Love is being with a person who makes you happy in a way no one else can," Kara said to her mom with a pause.

"Mom, Just because I'm twelve years old doesn't mean I can't love," Kara said to her mom further.

"Arguing with you won't do us any good Kara so let's focus on the task ahead, which is the shooting of your commercial," Mrs.Katherine said to Kara.

"So You're seeing him now! Aren't you??Rebecca asked Kara while the limousine was passing through the streets of Los Angeles.

"What if I am?? Do you have a problem with it?. Kara asked Rebecca Coldly.

"That boy is too old for you! He's eight years older than you, I don't think he loves you, I think he's just obsessed with you," Rebecca said to Kara.

"Who made You judge over relationships??...Why don't you go and tell "Felicia Montex," that her fiance is way older than her huh??? Kara asked Rebecca coldly while glaring at her.

"Hey, don't look at me like that, I was just saying my feelings and theories, you don't have to take them seriously! Rebecca said to Kara nonchalantly.

"Girls! Will you stop your bickering??? Mrs.Katherine asked.

"Hmmmphhhhh!!! Kara murmured.

"I don't wanna hear any more words from you girls' mouths! Do you hear me?? Mrs.Katherine asked while looking intently at Kara and Rebecca.

"Okay," Kara and Rebecca chorously replied.

"Good! Mrs.Katherine replied curtly.

An hour later, Kara's convoys finally arrived at the lobby of the L.X Designs Company.

Kara and Rebecca Immediately came out of the limousine and went straight to the L.X Designs building.

A few minutes later, they arrived at the L.X Designs mini-studio where they were to use for the commercial shoot.

"Ah! You are here, welcome," Lin Xialou greeted Kara as soon as she saw Kara entering the studio.

"Thank You, Miss Lin," Kara replied warmly.

"So, shall we start now?? Lin Xialou asked Kara.

"Yeah, I'm ready when you are," Kara replied warmly.

"Okay! That's great! Lin Xialou replied.

"Lia! Lyka! Lin Xialou called.

"Yes, Ma'am! The ladies answered chorously.

"I want you to show Miss Stewart the dressing room, give her the outfits we will be using for the shoot, and attend to her if she needs your help with anything," Lin ordered the ladies sternly.

"Yes, Ma'am! Miss Stewart, right this way please," The ladies chorously replied while gesturing for Kara to follow them.

Kara's make-up artist and stylist were already at the building, ready to start working on Kara for the shoot.

A few minutes later, Kara came out of the dressing room wearing a green silk gown, she was looking stunning in the gown.

"Wow, You look stunning," Lin Xialou complimented Kara.

"Thanks, Lin! Kara said warmly with a bright smile.

"Now, let's start the commercial shooting," Lin Xialou said to Kara warmly.

"Okay," Kara replied Lin Xialou warmly.

And with that, they started filming the commercial.

"Miss Stewart are you ready?? The director asked Kara.

"Yeah! Kara replied warmly.

"Good! Now Roll Cameras, We are ready to take this shot in 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and ACTION! The Director yelled loudly to the crew.

And in no time, they started filming the commercials.

(In the commercial video version)

Kara was seen talking to a lady who was looking for a perfect dress to wear to her date.

"Hey, Miss, your gown looks pretty, where did you get it from??? The lady asked Kara anxiously.

"Hahaha!!! Are You kidding??? Kara asked the lady while laughing.

"What do you mean?? The lady asked Kara feeling confused.

"Haven't You heard of the L.X Designs???? Kara asked the lady feeling a little bit amused.

"No, I haven't heard about it, please tell me about it! The lady begged Kara.

"Okay! Kara replied the lady warmly with a pause.

"L.X Designs is a fashion company, they design the most beautiful and enchanting dresses mankind has ever known, infact all of their dresses are top-notch! Kara explained to the lady further.

"Are You serious?? The lady asked Kara in disbelief

"Hell Yeah! Kara replied warmly.

"Wow! No wonder you look so pretty! The lady said to Kara totally mesmerized.

"Thanks! But You too could look pretty just like me," Kara said to the lady warmly.

"I can?? The lady asked in disbelief.

"Yeah, You can, all you have to do is pick the right fashion company, and it's "L.X DESIGNS," Kara said to the lady warmly.

"Wow! I'm so going there now to get one of these! The lady said to Kara while pointing at Kara's dress.

"Pick the right Fashion Design Company today!

"Pick L.X Designs and You could be just like me!!!! Kara said with a wink while smiling at the camera.

"Cut! That's a wrap! The Director yelled.

"Good job, Kara! Lin Xialou said to Kara while clapping her hands.

"Let's proceed to the Ads version now," The Director said to Kara.

"Okay," Kara replied the Director warmly.

(In the Ads Version)

Kara was seen walking slowly on a grass, swinging her hair, making her hair to flow with the wind.

She was wearing an L.X Designs brand shirt.

The L.X Designs brand shirt was white in color, and the cameras were focusing on her smiling face and the L.X Design Logo.

One of Kara's soft music was playing in the background, making the Ads to look serene.

The idea of the soft music was from Kara, she insisted that the music will captivate viewers, she insisted viewers will want to listen to the music, and in that way, they will be drawn to the Ads.

A few minutes later, they were done with the Ads shooting, the Ads was just made for thirty-five seconds.

In no time they moved to the photographing section, they were to use the photographs for promotion posters, billboard images, and fashion design magazines.

Kara posed for some beauty shots and in no time they were done with the shoot.

Two hours later, they were done with the editing of the commercial shoot.

The videos were immediately released to the public without delay.

Kara got home feeling excited, she took her laptop and logged into her Instagram account, she immediately posted the commercial videos on her Instagram without hesitation because she love Lin Xialou like a family.

To her endorsement or no endorsement, she was willing to promote Lin's Company, without thinking twice.

Two days later, Kara opened her laptop and logged into her Instagram account, she was amazed to see that the videos were liked by billions of her fans.

She ran downstairs to show her mom the liked video but was shocked to see Lin Xialou in the living room.

She didn't expect Lin Xialou to be around, she stood there in a daze until she was gripped by someone, coming out of her daze, she saw Lin Xialou embracing her like a lost treasure that was just found.

"Wh.....Wh.....What is this for Lin?" Kara asked with a stuttering tone, confused by Lin's behavior.

"Thank you for everything, my company's stock has skyrocketed in just two days," Lin said happily, tightening her hug in the process.

"Can You believe in just two days my company is now one of the sought-after fashion companies?? This happened because of you and for that I'm grateful," Lin Xialou said to Kara while smiling gratefully.

"You are welcome," Kara replied warmly.

And with that, Kara, Lin, and Rebecca went to celebrate Lin's Company's success in a famous restaurant.
