"scan "he said silently and the stats opened up
HP: stands for character health points. The character dies once it reaches 0HP
MP: stands for the characters strength points. Used up when the character uses skills. Character slows down when MP points reach zero
EXp: stand for the characters experience points. Exp increases the characters level, can be earned by killing monsters and quests
Others stats are affected:
STR: attack, defense, critical hit
DEX: evasion, speed, critical hit
CON: defense, maximum HP
INT: accuracy, critical hit, maximum MP
He read it through and decided on a few things. First he was going to increase his attack and defense. So that meant all those points are going to be used to strength. Second was he needed to find a better weapon.

On continuous attack the damage increases. He stored the gun and looked around the room. He drank a health potion and his health bar increased all the way. He looked around the room.
"oooh that won't do" he heard someone say. It was a more masculine voice but it was a bit feminine. It was either a boy going through puberty or messed up person.
He couldn't spot anyone even though he looked around. "she was really useful, now you went ahead and killed her"
He felt like a shadow swallow him. He was shivering and felt a bit dizzy. He turned and saw a kid standing at the stairs. A black aura surrounded him and it looked like pure darkness.
He withdrew his blade and bent a bit low. "That skill you want to use on me wont work"
"Who said I want it to work" he looked at the kid. He raised his hand and a red glow appeared. Chase looked around and saw a clear opening. A huge window with its glass shattered if he could just get that chance get away he would escape this psycho.
"don't even think about it. Once you get to that window I will tear you limb to limb. "the kid said, his eyes glowing.
"what do you want from me?"
"you just killed my asset"
"she attacked first, I only defended myself"
"yeah that last move was just self defense... I can rip your limbs off or you can repay me?"
Fuck! Getting into a debt in an unknown world…. That is just pure shit. But he just needed to get away from this guy. He activated his skill and lunged forward avoiding the kid at all cost. He got to his blind side and strike him. A damage of 2 appeared above his head.
What the hell! The skill was applied though it made a small impact on him. The demon gave a smile and turned to Chase "it that enough to prove to you that you're a mere weakling?"
Chase moved two steps back "how….. How…..how come I made a bruise….how…!"
"hahahaha… am beyond your reach!"
"so its your option?" the kid gave a smile.
Chase was taken a bit back and regained his thoughts. He had only once choice to deal with this problem "fine then... tell me…"
"now that's a good boy. He gave a smile showing his teeth. He was shocked to see the demon have perfectly whitened teeth. "it seems you have come to your senses!"

So it meant the more souls he got the more stronger he would be granted power by the demon king and if he failed the demon king would personally come for him.

The soul bound sword also got locked. "once you level up to 15 is when you can obtain it. But since you wasted your wishes I will give you a chest. I hope the reward will enlighten your mood"

He was satisfied with if since the son of a b**** locked the soul bound blades. The demon vanished leaving a black aura around the area. Chase was to scared to even stay in the room. He equipped the barasda blade and increased his strength points and increased his lunge skill.
He put the blades back and walked around. He stood by the shattered window and saw the large city that looked invisible without entering the building. He couldn't stay there anymore. He passed carefully and looked at the surrounding buildings. He needed to know what the hell wa going on.
