He moved swiftly between the rusty buildings. He didn't want to encounter any problems, so he move silently. He encountered a zombie. He stood back and withdrew his blades. It moved slowly and by the looks of it would be a walkover.
Suddenly two more groans were heard and two more zombies appeared. They sluggishly approached him. He waited while they had come close to each other. He bent low and applied pressure on his foot and lunged forward while activating skill
Two zombies fell while the one standing was in critical condition. It scratched Chase, he slide tackled the zombie while he shoved the blades into the zombie
Damn killing was fun.Ten coins dropped, he picked them up and continued. This time he moved along ways in which zombies were more present. He needed the money and the experience points. He fought more organized zombies but luckily he had the title in which he got boosted his health poll us he had health potions
He had reached level three when the monsters seemed to increase in health, stamina, some even had special skills. He came across stronger monsters like goblins, giant honest….. In this case they were so difficult because they travelled in-groups of 3-6.
He had difficulty handling this groups so he would escape and replenish his health. It was this guerilla method that gave him a chance to win, but he couldn't wish to risk close to close combat for long periods.
By the time he had gotten to level 5 he had gotten a new skill.
Bladed shield
A wall of blades appears around the character boosting defense and attack. Duration:5sec
Looks like it was a useful skill. He waa proud of himself so he gave a smile.
He felt shiver around him and a notification appeared... The demon king is proud of your progress. He has provided you with 300copper coins.
Add demon king to friend list
Was the system that fucked up that they would ask for him to add that freak as a friend. It looked like the demon king was able to know about his progress. It was kind of tricky but he appreciated the coins
He looked around and noticed the looming darkness. It was night, he needed a place to sleep, and he needed to figure out what happened that brought him here. Good thing he had the memory orb. At least it could help him with this issue.
He saw an abandoned bungalow. He was cautious since the encounter with the demon king. He withdrew his blades and slowly creeped inside the house. He looked around and saw the destroyed furniture and his senses heightened a bit.
He looked around the rooms and found nothing useful. He sat on the burnt couch and looked up the ceiling. Finally a little rest.
He lay a bit and stood up. Unattached his holder and walked around the room. He felt a bit comfortable in the room. He pushed the heavy objects against the doors and windows. He cleared the floor and lay a worn out mattress.
He opened his inventory and obtained the memory orb. He scanned it and found that it only contained a part of his memory. A notification appeared:
Consume the memory orb?
He accepted then another followed
It will take thirty minutes to fully consume the orb ,do you still wish to continue?
He knew he could not disrupt the process. It was either he could be immobile or he would not get fully of what he bargained for. He pressed deny and put it back in his inventory. He didn't want to risk loosing such an important piece.
He lay flat on the mattress. He felt sleepy, but he still maintained and didn't close his eyes. He sat and thought about this new world for a minute. Maybe there was a way he could find help? Maybe he wasn't the only person in this world! Didn't he already met that girl he killed, even though her soul was consumed by the demon king.
Maybe he could find a way out! Then a notification appeared. It was the menu screen. He saw there was a tab written 'jobs'. He pressed on it and there was a variety of it. The range was from mining to black smith.
All of them were 0/100, so this meant he needed to improve on the jobs to be an expert. He thought on what he needed to improve and maybe what their buffs may be. He scanned but nothing useful popped up.
So he decided to find other people the next day. He shut his eyes and slowly his mind drifted to slumber land.
He was woken by a groan. It seemed it came from around the house. It all felt like a dream and. He grabbed his weapons. He peeked and saw several zombies around the rooms. Particularly one caught his attention, it was huge with extra rotting flesh.
He couldn't see any other threat and knew if he attacked the huge monster would tear him apart. He slowly walked around the rooms making sure the was no other way the zombies could enter.
Hewent back to the window and looked at the monstrous beast. He nearly gave a scream, Right in front of him was a giant eyeball. It was twice his size. It gave a large roar and a humongous sword rammed into the house
