Draxan's conditions

Draxan inched closer to her closing the distance between them. He stared into her eyes and glanced around to ensure that they were alone.

His actions made the princess furrow her brows. He was acting way to suspicious for her licking. He just wanted to be the only one who hears his request.

"You have told me what you want from me. Now I will tell you what I want of you," he said to her.

Ariadne massaged her forehead. Her husband was getting on her nerves. She didn't like it one bit, she faced him with a piercing look.

"What would that be?" she inquired from him.

Draxan stepped closer to her. Ariadne stepped back from him, he kept at it until she was backed up to the wall on the corridor.

"I have a list of things that I want in return for accepting the titles you've given me. In order for me to accept your order, you have to accept to meet my demands," he said.

The princess kept her cold appearance. Though irritated to the core, she didn't react and remained still. Time seemed to slow down being so close to each other.

"Get to the point."

"First, I want three hugs from my wife everyday," he declared.

"Huh," speechless, the princess let out. It was beyond what she thought he would ask for. But he mentioned it was a long list so she didn't jump to any conclusion.

"What is the second?" she asked trying to calm her heart.

"We have to hold hands three times a day. In the morning, noon and night for ten minutes," he uttered.

Ariadne couldn't believe her ears. The things that he was demanding were so silly and stupid, it made no sense to her why he would ask for them.

"Is that all?"

"We must eat every meal together," he went on to say to her. "Forth, we must each give the other three positive compliments everyday," he adder.

"Are you done?" Ariadne was fuming. He was playing games with her when she was being serious.

"Not yet," he replied to her. "Since we won't be staying together, we have to sleep together once a week. Day, time and place can be decided with what we are both comfortable with," he explained.

"That is absurd and crazy," Ariadne spoke out.

"If their is a trip that one of us must go to, the other has to join for moral support," he told to her. "And lastly, you have to agree to sharing five lip kisses everyday," he added.

The princess let out a deep breath, all the demands put forth seemed like a waist of time. They were stupid and utterly useless and she was not into playing games.

"I refuse all of them," she said sternly.

"Then I refuse the titles you've given to me," Draxan said in a tone that matched hers to perfection. The princess glared at him for his nerve to talk back at her in that tone of voice.

Draxan didn't back down either, he met her gaze and kept it. He was close enough to hear how her heart skipped a beat with each request he made. She was acting mad and upset on the surface but even she was not totally against his requests.

He hoped that she would accept them. He was doing it for both of them, she needed to learn what love was and how it felt to be loved by someone.

He smiled recalling her reaction to be being teased. She had gotten angry assuming that he was mocking her when he was flirting with her. She didn't understand him because such were unknown to her. He wanted to change that.

"Is this funny to you," Ariadne questioned to him hating the smile on his face.

"Since you refused I will go back then," Draxan said and moved away from her. Seeing him leave made her panic, she needed him to work to learn that men are nothing compared to women. To get her revenge and teach him a lesson, she needed him to accept her order but he was being stubborn about it.

Making terms and conditions in exchange for something that he has always wanted. 'What could be important to him than this, it's something that he has always wanted?' she asked herself in her mind.

"Wait," she let out seeing him about to lock the door. Her voice put a sweet smile on Draxan's face. He turned around slowly with a blank face and looked at her. "I agree to your conditions," she said.

"That good but if you go back on your word. That is the day I will quit my job too," he threatened to her. He ran back to where Ariadne stood in a flash. The princess gasped in surprise.

"You can call me Drax then," he said and pulled her close and locked their lips together in a kiss.
