SOPHIE WAS AVOIDING HIM.

Every time Samuel would attempt to call out to her, she would immediately look away and pretend to be busy. Whenever they would pass by each other, she would feign seeing another person and even go towards someone that she obviously didn't know.

The girl even almost fell down the stairs, running away from Samuel who merely waved at her.

Samuel wasn't stupid. He knew the girl's actions had something to do with what happened two days ago.

Did Amethyst do something?

To know the answer to the question in his head, he had to talk to the girl.

The same girl that was obviously glancing at him repeatedly but would immediately cover her face with a book once he turns in her direction.

Fortunately, they had another meeting today for the organization. Something about a beach cleanup that was set to be done during the weekend.
