CXLII

WHEN AMETHYST WAS FIVE, all she wanted was to be a princess. Not just any princess of course. She wanted to be the prettiest, the kindest, and the richest.

Not that she knew what money was before.

Her father, who doted on her and resulted in him spoiling her with everything that he could offer her with his money, bought her a castle in Germany. The girl's mother was livid, but after the papers were finalized and the three were on a plane to Germany, she couldn't do anything more.

More than thirty servants were hired by Amethyst's father by the end of that day. He made them call them how those with blue blood were called, despite them not being one.

It did not really matter. They get paid for it, so they would obviously comply.
