BY THE BUSH

Next day, I promptly asked my grandparents if they knew about the teacher whose place I took. They told me that he wasn't very social person, but seemed very punctual. As it was Sunday, and I had no school. After breakfast, I headed straight for Ryan's house. There I informed and showed him the copy of the CCTV footage and we headed straight for police station. Police asked questions, I told them the whole story. Then they proceeded to investigate the footage. As I had done my part there, I went back home.

I told grandma all the details, and grandpa was told details without Ryan in it. Next few weeks passed normally. The class was doing great as I got to know them better. Few weeks later, the police started to investigate me.

"I was orphaned when I was 15, both my parents died in a car crash while returning from a business trip. From then I lived here with my grandparents until I graduated high school. Then I went to the city to get higher education. I rarely visited here and used my parents' savings to pay my collage fee. In my last year, I came back here during summer to visit my grandparents. Two months ago I got my diploma and came here searching for job. Here I heard about the teacher and his death and checked the CCTV footage from my house. I found three cars and I got suspicious, next morning I reported it to you.

Then they pulled out file that was of the teacher. File said his name was Matt Smith; he was 35 and died due to a car crash. The report said that he died between 12 am and 3 am.

In the footage the cars moved two times, at 1:37 am and second time at 1:49 am. So if these cars were related, the crash was between these two time stamps. They also investigated every nearby CCTV until they were sure that these three cars caused the crash. They were contacting all the nearby police units to find the owner of these cars. Soon we'll know...soon... that's what we thought, but it took much longer.

Before we knew it, it was New Year's Eve. It was 2020 (already!). What will happen in Feb.? I had only few weeks to know.
