Chapter 20: Training...

Hado Mansion~

"Young master, do you think this is a good idea?" Kimi said, looking at Mahi, Momo and Fai standing opposite Neji.

"Don't worry Kimi. We'll be able to save our butts." Fai yealled.

"I'll see who can save who's butt." Neji said to Fai teasingly.

"Fai stop yelling, come here. We've to make a solid plan." Mahi made a thinking position.

"Well we all know how versatile Neji is. We've to attack him from a new angle."

"New angle you say, but will we be able to pull everything out." Momo seems nervous.

"Oh, come on Momo. We have to do our best while Kimi guides us. It's already a lot of Neji and her." Mahi trying to cheer up Momo.

They have been training under Kimi and Niji for a week already and the final is in 3 days. Momo hasn't improved much. Fai joined them today in case that'll help training.

"So how was your training with brother Felix?" Mahi asked Fai.

"Well, I somehow managed to master some of my brother's moves…." thinking a bit "Well i have a plan!"

"You doo!?" Mahi and Momo both shoughted.

"Can Niji fly?"She asked.

Mahi and Momo gave mean looks at each other.

Soon they took their position.

"Are you guys ready?"

As soon as Kimi waved the flag, golden light covered the whole area.

"Grace!!!"

As the golden light faded Neji saw, flying Fai with 2 pairs of golden wings. But his eyes were glued at Momo, flying with a pair of golden wings and an air gun in her hand. He found that cute. 'Badass Angel'

Neji came back in reality hearing Mahi's cry.

"Guys! Why's everything upside down!?"

Mahi got the wings too but something's wrong. A pair of wings appeared out of Mahi's legs, making him unstable and flying upside down.

"What the…!"

"Mahi! You okay!!" Fai flied to Mahi.

Golden wings from Momo disappear because of inattentive Fai.

Before Momo could scream, Neji came at high speed and grabbed her by waist.

"Sorry, Mahi. I don't know how this happened." helping Mahi get down.

"No it's not your fault. I lost my control over my legs. They were flying separately."

"Dummy!!That's not a reason but why legs!?"

Mahi's legs still have golden light coming out.

Fai was giving her all into her brain to find an explanation about this.

"Isn't it obvious, wasn't it you who restored his leg back then." Naji said looking at Mahi.

"My leg, huh!?"

"Is it somekind of special phenomenon?" asked kimi.

"It is the first time..So…" Fai noticed the golden light disappearing.

"Ummm…can we start again now." Said Momo.

They were in their position. But those their strategies have changed.

"Start!" 🏁

It didn't work as they expected. Neji's shock wave defeated them once again.

"Wow..you guys lasted a few seconds longer than last time."

"I think that's it for today." Kimi waved.

They were all sweaty and exhausted so the girls went with Kimi for their relaxing spa inside the Mantion.That leaves Neji and Mahi at the swimming pool outside.

"Wow! It's so big!" Mahi exclaimed."Tho, we have a bigger pond in my place."

"Do you want it cool or hot?" Neji asked.

"Hot, please!" Mahi took off his shirt and went into the pool.

"Cannonball!"

"Hey watch it, Ice ball!"

"Ice ball? It can be a name for my moves."

"You and your childish moves. Your quick is more versatile than you think."

"Huh!?"

"Attack, defense, control and support. All other stuff.Out of 3 of you guys you're the most clueless one and the potential one! But forget it, you each belong to different genres."

"You praising me? Damn!"

"Should have killed you on the first day, you're annoying. Just listen! Skating is your thing but don't waste your potential in a way like this."

"There goes my hope." Neji can't help but get pissed by his lame look.

"Well, why don't you and I have a one on one battle."

"Now?!"

"Yes!"

Mahi and Neji standing on opposite sides of a big swimming pool.

"First lesson, make sure you take full advantage of the battlefield."

"You mean the pool?"

"Yeah! Any field!"

Mahi dipped his hand into the pool." Here goes nothing….!"

Pool started to freeze up, creating a suitable battlefield for Mahi.

Neji continued helping Mahi to figure out his potential.

At night ~~~

"Nejire-chan how's your study at UA?" Fai asked Nejire who seemed quite tired.

"It's actually fun but it's sometime tiring." Nejire said, stretching her arms a bit.

"I heard that you're one of the big three? Nejire-san your so great." Mahi said excitedly.

"It's not a big deal. I'm sure all of you are greater." A sweet chuckle came from Nejire.

"But Mahi, I heard you'd go to Shiketsu. Too bad our group will break up." Momo said expressing her sadness.

"Shiketsu? I heard there's many foring students. But are you going to give up Skating?" Nejire asked Mahi.

"Well I have a plan for that…" looking at Neji, Mahi smiled wide enough to see all his teeth.

"And you? Miss Fie." Neji starts his teasing.

"My quirk allows me to heal others . As UA doesn't have a special faculty for that, so Shiketsu it is."

"I hope you surpass Recovery Girl."

"Seion is live!!!" Mahi yelled, focusing on his phone. Everyone gave their gaze at him. "Sorry …"

"Seion just said in her live show that she'd be taking the hero course!"

"Control yourself, you're a national figure too." Neji said, looking at Mahi's phone.

"By the way Momo, haven't you decided where you're going to study next?" Mahi asked.

"Actually I can't decide…." an awkward silence…

Mahi stood up from his chair and came before the edge of the balcony. Looking at the night sky full of stars.

"Sometimes you have to follow your inner voice." Disappearing in his mind. " The star's are calling me but can't go. There's only loneliness …"

Swinging his hand into the air pointing to the sky… eyes claiming color started to form in the sky. Dancing in their position.

"…. Arora field!"

Nobody interrupted him, everyone's listening to his mistiriou words….but something is up, Neji looking at the sky with keen interest and with a smirk on his face fading in his own dimension of thoughts…
