Not Adventurous

I've always loved going on adventures, especially running in the woods, this time around I understand it's different, it's not an adventure but a quest that the lives of my children depend on as much as I wish for a safe trip the forest, I know that's not possible,  it's not going to be that safe and smooth.

"What are you thinking about? missing him already?" Roland teased raising an eyebrow.

"Come on Roland, I admit I miss him but not the way you think, I'm just hoping they're able to find the dragon's egg and we will be able to get the leaf.

"Don't worry they will and we will find the leaves and everything will be fine," he tried to comfort me and remain as positive as possible.

"I hope so Roland, I really hope so," I muttered furrowing my eyes towards him. He faces me as he walks.

"By the way, I didn't see Mary-Anne with you at the inn, what happened to you two? You left town with her," I asked curiously.
