CHAPTER 14

Keane grew impatient when Gwenever didn't answer his question and simply sat there with her eyes closed.

He planted his sword on the sandy ground and lifted her to the level of his eyes. It was like his wolf was about to surface watching her dressed like that, maybe she didn't know it but her curves were even more outlined and he could clearly see the fine lines of her bare breast for she was braless, possibly in an attempt to hide the two natural apples on her chest; the ones that not only he could see but his warriors as well for the camisole she was wearing was so oversize that they were almost poking out.

In response to his actions, Gwenyvere shook her whole body like a fish in the water to escape from the strong grip that had her hanging in the air, Although he knew he might be hurting her he was so angry that he didn't care about the spectators watching them.

"Sea* I think you need a demonstration," he said staring into the green eyes of his concubine just like she was starring at his.

"Put me down " Gwenyvere yelled shaking to break free when Keanne threw her to his shoulder and started walking back to the castle despite her voiced denials. Everybody they met on the way looked at her with pity while others simply avoided eye contact to stay out of trouble or because they disliked her and they thought she deserved the abuses of this cold-blooded brute.

She wasn't ready to accept her fate, and Gwenyvere vowed she would never be. The thought of the loving home out outside the stone fortress and the forest was latent in her mind therefore she was not going to accept this misery when she had better out there.

Her heart was full of sorrow and her mind was loaded with memories that she ought not to put aside.

How had she ended up on this man's path? , she thought.

Her vision getting blurry and her cheeks soaking with all the pain she has been oppressing in the name of "staying strong".

It had all started with her sister, yes. Lacie had brought the white wolf into her life. Admiring its pelage and beauty to the extend of wanting to take it home, it had been like love at first sight between them and the wolf had looked so helpless that Gwenyvere too had pitied it. She was incapable of holding any grudges against her sister, however, she missed her so much that whatever grudge growing inside her died out with the mere recollection of her smile.

If only her dear sister knew that the snow-withe wolf was nothing but a ruthless beast.

"don't touch me" she shouted hitting Keans back as hard as she could "let me go, you monster, I rather die than breathe the same air as you!"

In a blink of an eye, Keane strode into a foreign room, where two servants were happily conversing until he scared them striding into the room with two mattresses and blankets, a few cabinets, and a window that was the main source of light.

" out!" He yelled at them as he let Gwenyvere fall to the ground, the woman left hurriedly in fear closing the door behind them.

Gwenyvere's pulse was raising as if she was running a marathon however there she was retroceding on her legs and hands like a spider. She had landed on her back against the hard ground and she feared her ankle was sprained and that the worst was still to come.

"If you sneak around like a prisoner you are going to be treated like one," he said maliciously walking towards her "With no consideration, no freedom of speech..." Gwenyvere watch horrified how his eyes had shifted to his wolf form, even his voice sounded different.

"I... am an alpha!" he launched a cabinet that was in his way against the wall and snarled with his human canines longer than usual. He kept walking towards her and she kept seeing him fuzzily between tears until she bumped against the wall with no more centimeters to rove. "and I can have you whenever I want to" he snapped at her " You have decided to disobey me, so I have the right to implement you a punishment".

A sharp pain traveled along Gwenyvere's entire body when Keanne grabbed her ankle digging his claws into her flesh to pull her underneath him.

She screamed as much as the pain permitted her, feeling as if she was to lose the entire leg. It was no secret that she wasn't a match for the werewolf for she couldn't stop him from parting her legs and pinning her body to the ground with her hands above her head.

Gwenyvere was so tired she had no more strength to fight with, her head was throbbing and her whole body was in pain, such was the mental fatigue accumulated that her body went completely numb out of excess pain.

"Please... don't touch me," Said Gwenyvere heavily "please".

Keane closed his eyes, it had been hard to shift into a humanoid and control his senses. The pureblood alpha in him was satisfied with her submission, on the other hand inside him grew a strong feeling of protection.

He must have gone insane but he blamed it on the human, he was almost sure she was a witch, her outstanding beauty and the power she seemed to have over him said it all. He'll have to invite the shaman to figure out what was it about Gwenyvere that made him what she had so-called him: A beast.

The door was flung open as he was getting on his feet, the look on his gama's face was notorious as he stared at the body laid on the ground while Keanne shifted to human.

Dereck was Keane's best friend since childhood and apart from the relation as alpha and Gama, he considered him as a brother.

"summon the Shaman, immediately" he snapped still annoyed " when she is awake maintain her locked down.
