"Arabelle, I'm glad to see you."
Victor said getting up, from his chair. He had become taller since the last time she saw him. She could tell he had been working out or in the sun due to his tanned skin. He had reserved a private room to meet with Arabelle and there was a sprawl of cookies and cakes as well as freshly brewed tea over a circular table.
"I'm glad as well," Arabelle responded as Victor kissed her hand.
Victor nodded at the maids and servants indicating to leave them alone.
"Haah," Victor sighed as the door shut close, he pulled Arabelle unceremoniously onto his lap," It's been a long time Bella, you've gotten prettier."
Arabelle's cheeks reddened from the sudden movement and squirmed in his lap not registering his words," You... what have you learned at that dastardly Academy??"
Victor chuckled not refuting," I was really lonely," he said sadly, stroking her sides" there were so many couples, I had to just watch since my fiancé wasn't with me. Shouldn't you reward me after all my suffering?"
Arabelle arched her dainty eyebrows to look at him, her long platinum blond hair shone in the afternoon sun .
Her violet eyes glowed like gems as she squinted playfully, "And just how should I reward my fiancé?" she asked coyly.
Victor sucked in a breath at the sight.
He knew Arabelle was one of the most beautiful ladies in the empire. It had been clear since the first day he met her. When she was surrounded by her parents dealing with everything with a calm face. When she made fun of him in the garden, and when she blushed when he made her nervous. Everything about her was beautiful and endearing.
She looked so warm, that it made him greedy. When everything seemed to be going wrong, she suddenly dropped from the sky like a miracle. Victor wondered if the gods had pitied him and had sent her his way. There was always the doubt of whether her intentions were pure, but Victor didn't mind grasping at straws.
Victor wouldn't have liked a delicate lady, nor would he have liked a just one. Arabelle was like him, she didn't mind his ways and she accepted him for who he was.
Victor knew she held him in a high position in her heart, their relationship was the healthiest relationship he ever had. Even amongst his family members, whether it had been his dad or his confidants, their relationship with him paled in comparison to the trust he had placed on Arabelle even though they had only known each other for less than 2 years.
Arabelle had blossomed into a young lady and she gave off a youthful yet mature air. She was absolutely stunning.
Though it was never something he worried about since everything regarding their relationship went smoothly, he couldn't help feeling anxious when he was not with her. There wasn't much he could do other than what he had already done, he got engaged to her, and they were going to get married.
When he went to the academy, he still thought of her. The other boys would talk about their fiancés and boast but he never did, he didn't want to sully her name by letting some unworthy men know about her. She just needed to be his alone.
But alas, she was the empire's rising socialite, and it was a good position to hold, especially as the future northern duchess. Sometimes he wondered if he was too protective, but then he'd see her get jealous or possessive of him, it made him feel warm.
Unfortunately, they had to part after only a little time together.
Whenever he walked past a couple in the academy or see someone being intimate, his mind would always wander to Arabelle. Would she make that kind of face when he kissed her? What would she look like when he pleasured her? Sometimes the thoughts kept him up at night and other times he dreamed about being with her and would wake up a mess.
It was then that he realized how much he wanted her. Arabelle, this pretty young lady who was sitting on his lap, was his, she could only be his.
This was his fiancé. This was going to be his wife. She was going to bear his children.
All these thoughts whirled in his head in a frenzy.
"Victor?" Arabelle questioned playfully, tracing the side of his face with a dainty finger, seeming to grasp all his thoughts. Why was she so perceptive?
"A kiss," he blurted.
"A kiss?" Arabelle asked, a pretty pink dusting her cheeks," Victor, you've become so rude," she said frowning, trying to look serious," You haven't even asked how I was or about my day or what I've been up to recently...."
"We can do that later," Victor interrupted pulling her closer and hugging her body against his chest," You didn't give me a good one last time."
Arabelle pouted," That was my first kiss.." she said remembering how she had pulled him for a quick peck as he departed for the academy.
"It was mine too," Victor returned nudging her cheeks with his nose, his lips barely touching them," We should practice, shouldn't we? We'll be doing it in front of everyone on our wedding day."
Arabelle looked at his cheeky look, Victor's red eyes gleamed like he was looking at some sort of prey, but she didn't hate it, she actually quite liked it. It means he liked her right?
Arabelle wrapped her arms around his neck," You make it sound so vulgar," she tsked.
"Hmmm, Bella..." Victor ignored her narrowing his eyes and bringing her chin towards his with his large calloused hands.
Arabelle rolled her eyes at Victor's attempt to seduce her, but her mouth crooked up as she leaned in to seal their lips together.
The kiss was simple and affectionate, but Victor wasn't satisfied.
Victor gave her lips a small lick and started to knead and nibble at them. Arabelle tightened her grip on Victor as she let Victor in.
Victor chuckled in success. Arabelle shivered as she felt the vibrations through his chest... they seemed a bit wider.
Victor's tongue hesitantly broke into her mouth, caressing and exploring every part of it, slowly learning his way through.
Arabelle pressed herself harder against Victor feeling him move his hands up and down her body, smoothly caressing her waist and hips.
Not to be outdone, she responded slowly to Victor, combing her hand through his hair.
Their first real kiss was clumsy, both of them trying their best to please the other.
Hot pants and wet noises echoed in the quiet private room as the couple started to get more confident in their actions. The sweet air suddenly got hot as the heat started building between them.
Arabelle broke away first suddenly feeling something poke her.
"You're poking me,' she whispered, her cheeks flushed.
Victor looked at her sparkly eyes and that face that seemed like she just got violated.
"Victor!" Arabelle complained uncomfortably after not getting a response," You're poking me."
Victor returned to reality and had the decency to look embarrassed," Oh...."
He shifted Arabelle into a more comfortable position, although Arabelle still seemed to want to sit on the chair.
Victor trapped her by hugging her into his arms and placing small kisses on her hair and ears.
They stayed like that for a good minute.
"Has it gone down?" Arabelle suddenly asked.
Victor smirked," Has what gone down," he drawled.
Arabelle glared at him," I'm not going to say it."
"Why not?"
"A respectable unmarried person would not say such terms."
"Is that so?"
Arabelle rolled her eyes but peaked at Victor who was smirking at her," But..."
"I might say it after I marry if my husband wants me to," she continued innocently.
Victor's grip on her strengthened as she giggled at his reaction.
She abruptly got up and escaped from his grasp.
"Bella..." Victor sighed as he watched Arabelle tidy herself up.
She was going to be the end of him.
