Is it wrong to kidnap?

Snapping out of my thoughts I focused on the current situation. Harry was still holding on, albeit by a thread, but he was still holding on. Hermione should get there quickly so all I had to do was wait. I looked over to see what Dumbledore was doing and to my surprise, he had a smile on his face.

Recalling the fact that he was able to perform arresto momento means that Harry isn't in a life threatening position to begin with. He leisurely sat there with the other teachers who were worried for Harry. I shook my head and focused on Snape and Quirrell.

The jinx they were performing needed to be done while maintaining eye contact with the target, if eye contact is lost then the jinx stops working. After a little struggle, I was able to finally see Hermione under Snape through the binoculars she left with me. She sent the spell which caught fire to Snape's cloak which after about 30 seconds was noticed.

Snape jumped up and knocked everyone down in an attempt to put out the fire which effectively disrupted Quirrell. I saw Quirrell's face morph into a grim one as he looked at Snape before quickly going back into the character.

Made me laugh to be honest but it did make me curious about the mirror of erised. I wanted to know what I wanted most in this world, I was pretty sure of what I wanted most but it would be good to find out and be sure anyway.

Looking towards Harry, who stabilised himself and soon sped off towards the snitch again. Funny how the snitch went back to being erratic while Harry was jinxed but became tamer after he started to chase after it again. It really was a boring game, a bunch of idiots chasing after a ball while two shot put sized balls flew around trying to kill you.

Blew my mind as to who would want to play this game. Shaking my head, I looked towards Hermione who was coming my way before sitting down again. She looked towards Harry and seeing that he was fine she sighed in relief.

"Our great hero has returned; you must be sad that no one knows you save Harry huh?" I said with a teasing smile. She looked at me indignantly before bursting into laughter. "let's go I don't really feel like staying for the rest of the game," she said before getting up again. I was surprised but didn't disagree as I was tired of this dumb game anyway. I thought it would be fun to watch but it really wasn't.

Under the cheers of everyone present Hermione and we made our way back to the common room where we sat in our usual spot. It was far quieter compared to normal due to the absence of everyone. You would think that me and Hermione would be happy about it, but for some odd reason, I felt like something was missing which distracted us from studying.

So, we simply talked about some random stuff before deciding to go to our classroom and practice some magic spells and spar against each other. After about an hour the game would have already finished. We were physically exhausted, so we head back to the common room to find it noisy and full of life.

Seeing the scene, me and Hermione looked at each other and smiled before walking in and sitting on the couch to observe the party. The Gryffindor house was cheering for Harry and the team as they welcomed him back in. Ron was stuck to Harry's side making sure that he was okay. Under the noisy atmosphere, me and Hermione were finally able to study, I laughed at the contradiction.

The three weeks went by quickly, and Christmas was fast approaching. I needed to put my memory reading plan into action, but I had tweaked it slightly. I figured that taking on Percy while seemingly easy would be too much of a risk if caught. I thought about it before settling for a 4th-year student which was also in Gryffindor. Would often roam the corridors after dinner and was the perfect candidate for the job. I asked around and found out that all the 4th years had learned the Protego spell by then, so it was very convenient.

There were Normal protego, duo, reflecto modification and totalus which I would need to learn. Well, not learn I had already learned them I just couldn't cast it because I was missing the visual image, which the teacher would provide but I couldn't access. I tried asking but they rejected me with every bullshit excuse under the sun.

Fuckers made me do it, now I have to waste my time pushing myself through this monotonous training. Legilimency was good to learn but terribly boring. Shaking away my thoughts I went to dinner as usual and afterwards located my target. I split with Hermione with some random excuse since she was against the idea. I followed the target until we were alone and cast the confundus charm on him.

"Walk towards the seventh floor," I whispered, and the target seemed to have remembered something and made him walk towards the seventh floor. We soon arrived at the seventh floor and went by a certain painting. Once here, I used stupefy on the poor soul and knocked him out cold. I walked by the painting three times thinking about a room away from the eyes of everyone with a place to sit.

It worked as a door materialised on the wall opposite the painting. I dragged the unconscious boy into the room before closing the door behind me after making sure that no one was around. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, but the teachers forced me so fuck them. I saw an empty chair in the middle of a small room on which I placed the knocked-out kid.

I made sure that my plan was in order and that I was ready before waving my wand at the guy.

"Legilimens" I said softly.
