Harry Potter: World on Fire

First time writing a first-person novel, so take it easy I will get better the more I write. I'm writing a story that I would love to read. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. Love the community, much love to authors and readers alike keep up the good work.

Plot and everything was good, there was just too much hermione, in general there is too much hype about her, think about it, everything she knows is from memorization, I don't actually find her smart, and as for the mc he remembers EVERYTHING as stated and is smart so would be ahead of hermione in everything from occlumency to theoretical knowledge about magic, the fact that you gave her such an important role and hype made me stop reading it, I might have continued, but the story before had the EXCACT same relationship between mc and her, from meeting, talking about how books can be wrong, to being the only friend they have, mc teaching her ALMOST EVERYTHING he knows, and SOMEHOW THE SAME THING ABOUT THE PROTEGO, which caused me to quit the last story due to its stupidity, I get that imagery is important, but perfect memory, amazing talent, and most importantly, the fact that at least a few of the books in the library would have a description of the spell.

The Concept is pretty good and the chapters are fun to read. Though i will still only give it 4 stars as there are many grammatical errors and pov changing between first person and third person. Another reason would be that the background seems kinda forced. These dragons who were super powerful were all killed off as they needed to sleep to store magic power is a bit of a stretch i mean why not just make a ward around your sleeping room(cave?) or heck sleep in shifts? or just kill your enemies when you are awake. This excuse could explain how wizards could have killed one or two but not the whole species also pendragons were the most powerful family but it was also nearly destroyed it all seem too forced. Plus were are these all past old wizards i mean we would see some kind of legacy if the knowledge about pendragon family could be passed down then why not those ancient spells were passed down, why are all the wizards soo weak now? Too many loop holes could be found with this setting.

I really like this novel, but the whole transfer to America to grab his key ruined it for me. They just went through how important it was for him to have Hermione around and not get wrapped up on complete search for power and then he goes and needs to transfer? I’ll most likely try reading again when you have more chapters and can skim through that part. I get that its a new concept, but i just dont think it fits in terms of the flow of the story. Especially with the deal he made with Dumbledore. It makes zero sense.

I'm really enjoying the book and I like it how the mc is not drooling over all the female characters makes a nice change from all those harem books. But the annoying thing is that the mc is going you know not gona help Harry and Ron all the time and saying how stupid they are and everything but yet still makes up random stupid reasons to get involved with every incident they are apart off.

The plot of the story is good but as usual for the authors writing a hp fanfic this author also focuses heavily on hermoine and the mc teaches almost everything he knows to her like a simp he is so nah not for me

That was truly a magnificent fic. I enjoyed every single word that was written and was always excited when a new chapter would drop. I think it was a good and new approach to the HP world, cause the story was unique in its way. I have never read a HP fic we’re the author explained details so good and even gave the American school of wizardry a try. I hope the author doesn’t stop publishing this, cause I think it’ s one one the best fics I have ever seen.
