Ahhh, teenagers

Going back to the effect my tattoos had, to simplify it, it showed them the story of the dragons. how they came to be, how they fought and how they died. It even mentioned my family. it was almost like looking at a timeline of events that was being shown via an illusion. As if you were really there.

I didn't mind showing them for one simple reason. I would be creating a seal to protect the secret from coming out with every single one eventually. I cancelled the effect soon after since I didn't want them to see everything for now. according to Drak, the illusion would go on for about an hour in our time. but for them, they would live through months and years of memories. I was already subjugated to this after asking Drak for it. it was quite trippy, to say the least. I felt like I had aged several years. And it took a couple of days to adjust myself back in order.

So, I didn't want them to be like this since we had class. As soon as I cut the connection, all of them woke up and fell limply to the floor. They sat there in a daze as they stared at me with shock. They probably only saw the beginning of the whole story, so they would have a lot of questions.

"Before you start asking, you will get the answers later. For now, get up, wash your face and get ready for class." I said as I covered my tattoos with a transfiguration spell. Slowly, my tattoos faded as if they were simply an illusion to begin with.

Fred stood there silently looking at me for a moment before smiling slightly.

As he walked by, he leaned into my ear and whispered.

"I'm glad I became your knight, Pendragon. I look forward to the great things you will achieve." He patted my shoulder slightly with a chuckle before yelling at John who was back to combing his hair in the mirror. Why was he doing that if he was going to get wet?

I was left there smiling slightly. Soon after, we walked out of the change rooms to find the rest of the class standing there chatting quietly amongst themselves as the teacher sat by the poolside in a revealing bikini. Her cascading back hair framed her face perfectly along with her otherworldly hourglass figure that would send any man for a loop and a half.

The boys were just getting into puberty, so their hormones were through the roof, the girls had frowns on their faces as they stared at the boys. I turned to Percival and Robert but to my surprise, they were staring at completely different things. Percival was looking at Jenna who was in a green swimsuit. she was a beauty, she was young, but I could tell she had very good genetics. She would be stunning in the future.

And naturally, the simp Robert was half drooling as he stared at the slightly more mature body of Abby. I walked up to the two before slapping them on the back of the head awakening them from the stupor.

"Instead of staring like a bunch of little boys, why don't you man up and go over to talk to them. You better start making some moves before someone else grows the balls to do so. If that happens, you better start looking for a place to hang your corpse from." I chuckled. Percival seemed to have a jolt of electricity run through him as he jumped into motion making a b-line for Jenna with a rather charming smile on his handsome face.

Robert on the other hand was twiddling his thumbs like an idiot with a shy expression. I couldn't help but sigh before grabbing his shoulder from behind and leaning into his ear.

"Relax, beath in three times, count to ten, think about why you like her. Think about the potential of her liking you back. Think about the future, think about what would happen if someone else took that future away from you because you were too much of a coward. Are you going to be a coward?" I prodded.

"No! I'm not!" Robert said with determination before walking forward with wide strides, his shoulders firm and his chest puffed out full of confidence. I nodded; I truly am a great friend.

{Tch, pumping up your tires a bit much don't you think? A good friend, more like a bad one. You just gave him false hope with no game plan. Too much confidence without a plan is foolishness. Look at what you have caused.} Achlys chided with a mocking laugh.

I looked over to Robert who was chatting to Abby who was not even paying attention. No matter what he tried, Abby wouldn't even respond. I couldn't help but hide my face in my hands. I truly underestimated the coldness of that girl.

'Man, this is just horrible. Look at him, he's trying so hard too. Oh, never mind, he gave up.' I thought to myself as I stared at the duo between the gaps of my fingers.

{truly a bad friend. Tch-tch-tch. But the actual reason the girl is ignoring him is bec—never mind, what's the point of telling you anyway. You might ruin it by telling the poor fool. If it's meant to be, it'll be. Stop meddling in the affairs of others.} Achlys said in a mischievous tone.

'What do you mean, I'm still 1 out of 2 at the moment.'

{are you? Percy over there doesn't seem to be doing well either.} Achlys said with another chuckle.

I turned my head to see Percival striding forwards before suddenly falling flat on his face due to slipping on the wet surface of the pool floor. His body hit the ground with a wet slap catching the attention of everyone present. Some began to laugh while others covered their mouths to suppress the gasp escaping their lips. They winced as they could seemingly feel the pain the fall would have brought.

I couldn't help but grimace at the sight.

'Bunch of fucking monkeys.'
