My own Alfred

[Here, I'm sending you information on a magic seal that will allow you to establish a contract with another creature. It is a very old spell. It will bind you together as master and servant.] Drak said suddenly.

"Why? Do I really have to make him my servant? Isn't that excessive?" I said out loud.

"I would be honoured, young man." Said the trashcan.

"I mean… this is… fine. Do what you want. Are you sure you want to do this?" I asked. I wanted to make sure he was ok with it.

"Yes." He said adamantly.

"Ok Drak, what do I need to do?" I asked.

[draw the magic seal on the trashcan, and then drop a bit of your blood on it. that will effectively seal the deal.] he said.

I nodded and got to work. The trashcan stayed still, and I was able to do It quickly. It seemed that even if it was old, the seal wasn't hard to draw. I then cut my finger with a transfigured knife and dropped it on the middle of the seal. The blood fell on it and instantly seeped into the metal.

To my surprise, the trashcan began to change shape. It turned into a silver ball of metal that sunk in certain places slowly forming the outline of a person huddled with their head between their knees. It soon expanded and grew before turning into the shape of a full adult. He looked like fucking Gandalf. But Gandalf in suit and tie. It was strange, to say the least.

He was made completely made of sliver but was so intricately detailed that if he had the right colour shading, I wouldn't be able to tell he wasn't human. It reminded me of the silver surfer… with a beard.

he then bowed. "Thank you for letting me accompany, young master." He spoke.

"Young master?" I asked in confusion.

"Yes, since I am following you, it is only right that I address you appropriately." He said with a 'it's only right this way' tone.

'Hmmm he looks like a butler… HEHEHEH I have my own Alfred now.'

"Do you have a name?" I asked.

"I do not." He said dejectedly.

"Why?" I asked.

"I do not know. I guess I was not worthy of one." He said even more dejected.

'Drak why doesn't he have a name?' I said in my head with a frown.

[your Great grandfather was an odd ball to put it very mildly. He was strong but he did things for no rhyme or reason sometimes.] he said.

"I see, ok your name from now on will be Alfred." I said with immense glee.

"Thank you young master." Said Alfred with joy written all over his face.

"My Great grandfather may have thought nothing of you. But, since you are now with me, it is only natural that you deserve a name." I said with a smile as I patted his shoulder.

"Yes, young master." He said with a smile.

"Ok, so now we have to deal with the whole issue of leaving the entrance to the magical district without a way to open it." I spoke. Since I took the trashcan how were others going to get in.

"Do not worry, it can be easily fixed." Said Alfred before lifting his hand up. Pieces of metal began to converge on his location before creating a big all of silver. It then began to change shape and took on the look of a trashcan. Lid and all. I was surprised that he could do that. Maybe I should have called him Magneto instead.

"How did you do that?"

"Oh that? I can control metal at will. I guess it's an ability of mine." He said with a dismissive shrug. I began to smile instantly at the mention of an ability.

"You're thinking what I'm thinking, right guys?" I said out loud.

[{Yep. Do it}] both Drak and Achlys said at the same time with slight excitement.

"HEHEHE, Alfred, stay still for a second. "I said with an evil grin. Alfred looked at me in puzzlement. But soon changed as his jaw dropped and he shakily pointed his finger in my direction.

"T-That eye, n-no you can't be related, right?" he asked in extreme shock. I could only shake my head with a wry smile.

"You mean Grindelwald, right? If so, then no, I'm not related to him. We simply have a similar-looking eye." I explained.

"I-I see, that's good then, good, what a relief," he said in a meek voice. I stopped paying attention to what he had to say and concentrated on directing magic towards my left eye. It took me thirty whole minutes to finally pull it off. I kept failing to supply it with enough energy. When I did though, a wave of dark magic surged outwards and swept past Alfred. I saw him reacting to something as he began to look at his hands in puzzlement. The wave of black energy then receded like the tide and a whirlpool was created in my left eye that collected it back up.

When it was all gone, the alleyway became silent. I had closed my eyes to concentrate on the information and new sense I had acquired. The feel was weird. It felt like pins and needles, but all over my body before disappearing quickly. I lifted up my hand and a wave of invisible energy rippled outwards. Pieces of scrap metal sprang to life and sped towards my location as if pulled by a strong magnet. The ball of rough and mismatched metal objects began to seemingly melt into a ball of silvery liquid. Then I used my imagination and visualisation to turn it into a small golem.

I pictured it to be about as tall as my knee and looked like those rock golems from video games. I raise my head to look at the shocked expression on Alfred's face.

"Y-Y-Young master, w-what was that? H-how did you pull that off, that was what I just did?" he asked while stuttering. He seemed to be struggling to process what he had just seen. I smiled and explained to him the effects of my left eye to him. He was once again shocked but soon nodded in understanding.

"I see, it seems that your potential dwarfs that of your great grandfather." He said seriously.
