Are you juicing?

Abby was incredibly solemn, she heard what Jenna said and concluded that this was yet another exclusive spell that Tom had. But his next actions puzzled the group. Instead of taking advantage of the unstable bug and finishing it off, he retreated. He then put his wand away and tapped his chest.

It was a confusing sight, but then his voice echoed through the stadium.

"Herculean strength!" he yelled. Everyone raised their eyebrows before their jaws dropped. A tornado formed around him momentarily as his figure grew by a whole foot. His body was incredibly muscular.

As the leg of the beast shot towards him, everyone was expecting him to dodge but to their shock, he seemed to have been hit. Percival shot up from his seat with a worried look. Abby had black lines all over her face. did she overestimate him?

Jenna was observing intensely. Fred was silent but a glint flashed through his eyes as his muscles tensed as if ready to pounce. Robert was shocked and also rose from his seat. some other students did the same as they looked over. Everyone knew that it was easy to defeat this beetle, but never, ever, take a direct hit or you could die.

Just as Walter was about to rush in a deep laugh echoed out from the dissipating cloud of dust and revealed a shocking sight.

Everyone's jaws dropped completely as they stared at Tom holding onto the claw of the beast in between his fingers an inch from his face.

'Holy shit! who knew I would get this strong by increasing the output of magic into the spell.' I had done so when I felt the strength behind the beetle. I didn't want to take any chances and I was right in doing so. If I hadn't, I would have lost an eye. Although temporarily, it was still losing an eye.

This was a simple strength buff. I thought about it when I took the physical strengthening potion back last year. I wondered what would happen if I was able to create a spell that not only allowed me to exhibit the maximum potential within my body, which has already way higher due to my body reconstruction, but it allowed me to temporarily go beyond that. I only used a little bit of my magic power just now. I was very far away from reaching the endpoint.

Drak also said it was a good idea since it paired well with my physical training. If someone else had this spell, their muscles would be instantly torn after a few moments because their bodies couldn't handle it. after all that reforging my body went through, this was nothing.

So, it was a unique spell only meant for me. I wondered how strong I would be if I went all out but refrained as it might do too much damage to everything and everyone. So, I settled for 5%. As I winded my fist back it instantly exploded forward and directly into the face of the beetle that was trying to bite my head off.

BOOOOOOOM!

Instantly the body of the beetle shot backwards like a bullet and crashed into the forcefield that rippled continuously. But it effortlessly contained the beast. I was surprised at the strength of the barrier but was also thankful. I then looked at the claw that was still stuck between my fingers. I totally forgot that I was still holding on.

I chuckled to myself as I let it go. It quickly dissipated along with the body.

I looked over to see Professor Walter on the ground with a pale face as he looked at me. then I realised that everyone was the same except for three people.

I wasn't surprised that Abby was fine, instead, she was glaring at me with unrestrained lust. But it wasn't the sexual kind, but the lust for power. I could only sigh at my fate as I'm mauled to death under her incessant questions. I then turned to look at Percival who was grinning slightly as he clapped while seated.

He wasn't shocked, most likely because I had already shocked him too many times. He was probably numb to it.

But the person I was most surprised about, was Fred, there was a unique glint in his eyes. Now I definitely knew there was something going on with him.

I waited for a bit, but the next beast never came. I once again turned towards Walter only to see him still dazed on the floor.

Percival understood this and quickly fixed it by going down and waking up the professor from his stupor. The latter laughed awkwardly and proceeded to the third battle.

It was a Scorpion about 1 meter tall and 3 meter's in length. Its tail by itself was 4 meter's as it curled towards the front.

I didn't want to bother on this floor anymore and crouched slightly before shooting out like a rocket. I instantly arrived in front of the scorpion before shattering it with a punch. Who cares about weaknesses and all that shit in front of sheer power? Sure, that might breed arrogance and overconfidence, but I doubted there was anything that could kill me with my armour around. Unless they were able to continue for more than 4 minutes of constant attacks, I was unkillable.

I say 4 minutes because I had been training with Drak. I had been able to push the limit after much effort. And that was after several weeks of practice. It would take me a very long time to reach the third stage, dragon's descent.

But Drak did say that the more I practised the quicker I would be able to increase the duration. It was a scaling thing. It was hard at first and would slowly get easier. Seemed to go against logic since physical exercise and growth, in general, tends to get slower the higher you reach. But I guess that wasn't the case.
