Chapter 36

Okay. Maybe Jace wasn't a good boy after all. Everything would have been fine – perfect even – if Jace didn't act like an ass once again by complaining the whole time and if Lorelei had her name right on her cup of frappe (the barista accidentally wrote "Laura" instead of "Lorelei").

He had been up and about how overly sweet and how he would get tonsilitis because of Lorelei's choice of doughnut and drink while she was busy making changes a.k.a editing her work. And it was even worse because, by the time she finished editing it, he still wasn't satisfied with her work. Of course, Lorelei wasn't a bit pleased by his attitude. She was starting to think he was intentionally nitpicking on her. It was then when she decided to maybe just stop trying to be on friendly terms with him.
