Chapter 49

There is always something atypical yet dreamy about mountains. Well, not really mountains only but places with lots of greens. The grass, trees, and all the other bunch of plants that fill your eyes with verdant scenery are just so refreshing, especially if you only get to visit places like it once in a while.

Lorelei breathed in and filled her lungs with the slightly chilly, fresh afternoon air.

This is it. It finally felt like she was actually taking a break from everything. Finally away from all her stress, academic responsibilities, and problems like their pending term paper.

"Lei, are you gonna continue basking there, or are you coming with us?" Amari yelled from the pension's living room.

It snapped her back to reality. Right, she can't just sit here and lounge all day under the porch's sunny spot. She whirled and began making her way back to where her friends are.
