Walking behind Shaak Ti I spent most of the walk ogling her figure, even with those jedi robes she was still looking fine. While we were walking she told me that I was going to join the Clawmouse clan as there are all around my age. A youngling clan is basically a class for younglings around the same age group, a clan will do everything together, from formal education to force exercises all the way up until they are deemed ready to become padawan learners.
Entering a room where the younglings were at desks being taught by a jedi knight about languages or something, the teachers sees me with Shaaki Ti and says "Master Ti, is this a new addition to the clan?".
"Yes it is Knight Koon" looking towards me "Now go on, introduce yourself to the clan." nodding at her I walk towards the front of the room while the teacher who I think is Sha Koon steps to he side to give me room.
"Hello my names Lycan" I say in a neutral tone, getting nods from all round the class including the teacher she tell me, " Thank you for the introduction Lycan, please pick an empty seat so we can restart the lesson, if you have any questions during the lesson raise your hand and I'll do my best to answer them." nodding as my reply I move towards a seat at the middle of the back row in the class. Sitting down Shaak Ti says to me before she leaves "I will come back when this class is finished to show you to your living quarters".
When the doors close behind the jedi master, the class resumes. Basically the class was about the madness which is the jedi code, the second she started banging on about the whole 'there is no emotion there is peace' crap, I was second guessing my decision to come here. And it's only been an hour. Where's all the cool shit like lightsaber and force techniques, or even flight simulation training that'd be wicked cool. The second hour of the class was just me looking around the class, trying not to fall asleep while pretending to pay attention.
As the class was finishing up, Sha Koon tells us "Remember and come to your lightsaber training room in an hour for a lesson with master Yoda". Apparently if your late for a class you'd get some punishment from the teachers, which could vary from cleaning to helping out in the jedi archives.
Another thing I noticed was that I was in the same clan as the likes off Ashoka Tano and Knox, that kid that got one banged after Savage Opress slapped his master up with a spear to boot, and this was before he even got training. Shit like that made me wonder how the council gave out the rank of master.
Leaving the room with the other younglings I'm pulled to the side by Shaak Ti, "Come with me Lycan, we need to pick up your robes before we head to your room". When she said this I realised I was still wearing all this nightbrother gear that kind off looked like a metal kilt.
The doors a room filled with all different types of sizes of robes but the colour choice wasn't as varied. You only had the choice of different shades of brown, cream or black. To be honest I didn't even want to wear robes, they make you look like some dodgy deathstick dealer, but apparently the jedi didn't share the sentiment.
Walking over to the black section, I looked for one in my size before going into the stall and trying it on. Looking in the mirror I was impressed with my choice, a jet black set of robes suited me since it went with all my tattoos and the utility belt that came with it was quite nifty too. It had a rack to hang your lightsaber on as well as a few pouches you can carry shit in, not even having to pay for my kit made my impression of the order increase ever so slightly.
Exiting the room II made my way over to Shaak To who was leaning wall next to the the door, "Good choice it suits you, now let me take you too your quarters.
A while later we finally made it too the hall where the younglings stay, it was nothing special just an overly long hall with the rooms adjacent from each other on both sides of the hall. Passing by as few rooms we stop at one and open the door to enter. On opening the door I seen what could possibly be the blandest room ever, grey walls, grey floor, grey desk, and only 1 small window at the back wall, it looks more like a prison cell than anything else.
Entering the room Shaak Ti gives me a run down of what I need to know "This will be your room for the entirety of your time as a youngling. You are allowed to customize this room too your liking but we recommend you don't become too attached to it as the room will be returned to its default form once you have graduated the youngling status". That makes it more bearable, I could get some training gear for the room so I don't have to share with kids all the time and get even more jacked than this body already is.
After she finished the explanation I'm broken from my thoughts when she tosses a bad at me. Catching and opening it, I find out that she gave me a bag of food. Confused as to why she gave me it Shaak Ti explains "I brought your food since you wouldn't have enough time to have lunch before your next class without being late".
Shit I almost totally forgot about that class, "Thanks Master" I said while giving her a toothy grin of appreciation. Shaak Ti then smiles back and exits the room while saying "Remember don't be late to Grandmaster Yoda's class" too right I won't be late. I might end up with the punishment of having to listen to Yoda talk about the code, it's bad enough to listen to it in a normal voice never mind his.
Quickly finishing up my lunch I follow the directions Shaak Ti gave me to find the lightsaber training room, getting there a nice five minutes before the lesson.
Soon after everyone arrives, Yoda enters the room slowly hobbling on his walking stick. Why he even needs it I don't know, the old man's like a pinball bouncing off everything when he fights.
"Going over the seven forms of lightsaber combat, today we shall, then practice the basics of shii-cho with a partner, you shall" fucking hell listening to him just shaved off a few years of my life expectancy, but at least the dark lord jar jar isn't here.
The younglings sat down cross legged on the ground listening to yoda recount the details on each lightsaber form. Form 5 would probably be the best for me, because of my strength the power strikes would be lethal and if you add on the force enhancement I intend to learn at some point, in saber to saber combat I'll be a force to be reckoned with.
But the form I wanted to learn the most would definitely be form 7, Vapaad, constant offense plus pulling dirty moves whenever you get the chance. Sign me the fuck up. The only problem would be getting Mace Windu to spill the beans.
I'm basically half trained in it already. Growing up where I was from, you'd end up in fights all the time especially if you had a short fuse like me. When shit kicked off the other guy wouldn't play fair so why would you. You had to do what was needed so you never ended up on the concrete.
Good times, good times.
Finishing off his lecture Yoda tells everyone to partner up and begin practicing form 1. Before I could ask my about my training saber Yoda force pushed one over to me and called me over for practice, since I never had and lightsaber training he was going to give me a rundown of the basics.
"Have a clear mind, you must, to used a light saber to its fullest capabilities" for the remainder of the lesson he continued to say his jedi sagely shit while I was getting the form understood.
Form 1 wasn't even hard to get the form down by the end of the lesson, I suppose it isn't the vanilla form for nothing. It's not as if I'm a master at it but it it won't be a problem to swing the saber about.
Finishing the training session Yoda gives us some words of advice before hobbling back to wherever it is he was going.
After he left most of the younglings went for something to eat, this time I joined them but never spoke unless they talked to me first. No wonder, I don't even know what the fuck kids even talk about, never mind these mini jedis. After a decent meal I head back to my room and strip down till I've just got some shorts on. Lying down on the first bed I've been on since coming here, I slowly drift off into a deep sleep.
