Ch.9 Ok

When the movie finished Raine relinquished my arm. “S-sorry about that. I love horror but they still scare me.” He smiled and stretched. I laughed. “It’s fine, it’s only numb.” He grinned and pretended to hit me. I laughed harder. I don’t think I’ve ever done this with anyone. Ive never really hung out with anyone, but this is fun. I should do it more often if it’s this fun. “That was great, now what time are we meeting tomorrow?” He looked down to think for a moment. “2:00?” I nodded. “Sure.” We walked back into the diner and walked out the front doors together. “Well see ya tomorrow.” I nodded again. “Sure thing.” I watched him walk off, but then sit at a nearby bus stop. He took the bus here? I went up to him and gave him a look. “What?” “Do you not have a car?” “Well, I can’t afford one yet, I can barely afford the bus to be honest.” “Well how about I give you a ride? My bike is right there.” He looked down once more. That seems to be a habit of his. “Uh..sure…if it’s not any trouble?” “Of course, hop on.” I led him to my bike and straddled it handing him my helmet. “Uh, what about you?” I scoffed and waved my hand dismissing it. He finally put it on, but couldn’t lock in the clips. “Come here.” He bent down but only slightly and looked at me. I untwisted the straps around his chin. Accidentally brushing is jaw every now and then. So soft, like a girls if anything. I shook my head and refocused on clipping him in. Once it was done he went behind me and got on. “Alright, ready?” “Yes!” I started the bike, eliciting a loud roar of the engine I felt him flinch behind me and I smirked. Like in any K-Drama, I grabbed him by his hands and pulled them around my waist. I heard giggles from behind me and couldn’t help a chuckle. We took off and I payed attention to his directions. He finally tapped my shoulder when we entered a neighborhood and I slowed down. “My house is the small beige one, 112.” “Got it.” I kept going until the numbers matched. I stopped at a small, building. It had two doors next to each other, leading into separate houses. “Do you live in both?” He hopped off and began to unclimbed the hidings around his chin. “Oh, no. My landlord lives in the other section. Although, it feels like I’m living in neither.” “What do you mean?” He pauses and looks to the floor. Again. “Well, he’s quite mean and kinda just walks into my place as he pleases.” He looks up to see the upset expression on my face. “It’s fine though! I really don’t care!” He clearly does. He wouldn’t have told me other wise. “Uh anyway, thanks so much for the ride and see you later.” He walks off, scuffing has shoes in embarrassment. I hope he’s doing ok, you know what…”I'll pick you up tomorrow. Ok?” He turns back and smiles. “Ok.”
