CXXIX. The End Is Near

Ssaull and Magarai had cleared a path after killing their enemies. The oceanic dragon ordered the blue dragon to go help Alexandra. This unsettled the blue dragon, thinking that if anyone should go to take care of the human more, it would be Magarai. Looking at her, he noticed that she had suffered some damage from her enemies' attacks. Her withered body and the lack of perfect balance due to her missing tail had caused her not to be the same warrior as in her golden days. He promised to go without delay to Alexandra; he only wanted a favor from Magarai. She, anticipating her companion's request, joined her forehead with his, showing the utmost display of love and a taboo among dragons. The oceanic female could not go with Alexandra, but she was more than sure that she could help Rophttys survive the battle.

"Please, Mother Desthy, let them both come back so that Rophttys and I can have a family to love when this is all over," the female begged in almost inaudible whispers.
