Chapter 103: Nature

"W-where are we going? It's been quite a walk away from where we were." I glanced behind at me as I realised I was now lost in the midst of mist, unable to tell the way I came from if I were to make a break for it.

Perhaps it was a mistake to follow her. However... There was something in her eyes that made me feel compelled to follow her.

"I apologise if the walk was tiring." The woman glanced over her shoulder, not even a trickle of sweat on her forehead as I felt rather concious of myself.

"Ah... No. I'm fine. Really. I was just wondering what you wanted to talk about that we had to do it this far away." I scratched my cheek as she smiled at me.

"I just wanted to continue our conversation from yesterday." She gestured at me to follow her as she led me towards an incongruous tea table in the middle of a vast space of green, shrouded by the mist.
