Chapter 106: Silence, Not Quite.

The room was quiet, aside from the soft snoozing and light mumbling from Sol's corner of the bed. The minute he had fallen fast asleep, I pried my eyes open and stared at the ceiling.

... You're not the only one who missed the other. I also missed you.

I reached out to hold his hand but before I knew it, my rear had hit the ice cold floor of the quaint home. 

... This, I don't miss.

I sighed, scratching my head before getting up from the ground. I then tucked Sol snuggly in the covers and sat on the settee at the window nook. It hadn't been too long from when we parted because of me, but the moon told me otherwise.

Seems like it's close to the full moon. Symbolising that I've taken leave from Sol for around 3 weeks... Had it been that long? All I could remember was the excruciating pain in my chest until I notice Sol's faint scent, carried in the wind.
