Chapter 107: The Little Wolf of The Forest

I stared blankly at the pot of boiling water, watching as it bubbles before instinctively turning off the heat. I poured the piping hot water into the mugs I had set aside earlier containing the powdered mixture.

I stirred the contents, hearing the spoon clunking against the sides of the mugs before inspecting whether the mixture had perfectly dissolved. I sigh, contented as I washed the spoon and set it aside. I then held onto the handles of the mugs as I headed towards the settee where Sol was staring out the window.

"It's hot." I handed Sol a mug as he shifted to the corner, clearing a space for me as I sat beside him.

"Oh, thank you."

"It does get rainfall every now and then. Yesterday, when you arrived was one of those rare days where it didn't rain." I glanced out the window as it began to fog up from the vapor escaping the mug.
