Chapter 130: Hidden Meanings

"And— we're here." I dropped my duffel bag containing the few clothes we wore onto the couch, glancing over my shoulder at Sol who was looking around wide eyed.

"Any wider and a spider might crawl in." I lifted his chin, gently shutting his hanging jaw as he furrows his brows yet refuses to make any comments.

"This is... where we stay?" Sol stands in front of my enlarged portrait gifted by the agency as I rubbed the back of my neck.

I honestly didn't want to bring that over but tossing it makes me feel a little uncomfortable since it's my own photo to begin with.

"Who's the chick?" Sol points with his thumb at the portrait on the other side of the wall as I chortled in laughter.

"Why? Did I ask something wrong?" He turned red as I shook my head.

"No. Its just— That's you." I calmed myself down as he knits his brows and looked back and forth from the photo to me, unable to get the joke.
