Chapter 131: Wolf ≥ Human?

"What are you talking about?" I decided to test how much he knew but seeing how I was dodging the question and pushing him to answer, he drops the topic.

"It's intriguing how Sol seems less stressed the minute he arrives with you." Darryl takes a sip from his cup, hissing at the hot coffee which burnt his lips.

"Was he that depressed?"

"Not depressed, but he kept making mistakes that even I wouldn't do despite not knowing much about his equipments." Darryl sighed in reply, pressing some tissue against his lips in an attempt to reduce the heat.

"How long had he acted that way?" I asked, curiosity overtaking me as I wondered whether Darryl would even tell me since I knew how he really felt for Sol.

Darryl flicks his gaze at me before knitting his brows, his eyes sweeping my body as if he was pondering the decision to reply me. Before long, he seemed to reach a decision and blew the waft of heat off the top of the coffee's surface before taking a sip.
