New Feeling

Jen bring Shen to a coffee shop called "Oceanos"

" I'm going to order a cup of coffee, how about you what do you want? " Jen asks Shen.

" A cup of coffee is also enough for me " Shen replied.

So Jen called the waiter and order 2 cups of coffee.

There is a slight awkwardness in the mood because Shen doesn't have any experience in this kind of thing.

Jen on the other hand doesn't make the situation any better as she is also nervous.

" Once again I wanted to thank you for helping me"

Jen made the move to break the awkward mood.

" I'm glad that I could help you "

" If you weren't their maybe the thief have gotten away that time, "

" I don't think so, to be honest with you the police would have caught the thief sooner or later anyway "

" Maybe you're right but it doesn't change the fact that you help me, so by the way how old are you? "

Jen changes the topic because he notices Shen seems awkward about that kind of thing.

" I'm only 19, how about you? "

" Wow really? I thought you're already in your early 20's or something, I'm already 21."

Jen is slightly surprised by the age of Shen.

" I guess I kinda look old by the things I have experienced so far," there is a sense of sadness in his tone.

Jen notices this so he immediately changes the question.

" What school are you attending? To be honest with you, it's my first time seeing you here, "

" Uhmm... I don't go to school or anything related to it, maybe next year I would consider attending one and I'm just only a few months living in here so I'm pretty new here,"

" So that's why I couldn't recognize you, let's be friends then since you're new here I guess that you still don't know a lot of people here,"

" Okay, I'm okay with that let's be friends" Shen smiled for the first time.

He felt extremely happy talking and being friends with Jen. It's his first time having this kind of moment in his life so for Shen, this kind of moment is genuine for him.

" Let me give you my contact number so you can contact me whenever you're free just call me and let's hang out I will introduce you to my other friends, but for now, I'm going on my part-time modeling so I need to go at the moment " Jen smiled at him and handed his contact number to Shen.

" I'm sorry for going this early but the company car is outside to fetch me now,"

" Don't be sorry about it's okay, let's meet again next time and be careful,"

Shen sounded like a normal teenager who seems to have a lot of friends.

" You too, be careful on your way home, " Jen wave goodbye as she went inside the car.

While he's walking back home, Shen can't help but think of Jen and smile.

Shen doesn't know what kind of feeling is this it's his first time encountering this thing. His heart is beating so fast while thinking of the girl he meets for the first time.

Although he doesn't know what is this he still felt happiness for an unknown reason.
