The universe core
After some more festivities about me of course, I (my mom) decided that I should go to sleep. I don't blame them for thinking I need sleep, they have no idea what or who I am. I won't act as if I do have an idea though. After my mother put me in the giant bed my father bought for me, she kissed me on the forehead and turned off the lights. It seems my sister is still celebrating with my parents.
Well, I've actually never had the need to check what kind of core do I have. I suppose it will be a white core since I'm basically a charity for the universe?
I laid down, and with the snap of my finger all of my power started surging through me. Damn do I feel good letting my energy flow freely again.
The process of finding out your energy core level is very simple, at least to me. You just need to follow an energy path straight to it. My energy can be perfectly controlled by sheer will, so it's easy. Although the reincarnation spell needed me to convey my will using words. I guess since it was soul magic? I wasn't slacking off for the billions of years I'm alive, now I'm thankful for that.
Well, let's not get side-tracked. I first checked my sisters core, to find out she indeed had an orange core. It looked like a round, orange gem, shining in the vast nothingness around it. It looked like it was breathing, sucking in the surrounding energy in the process. Then I followed an energy path straight to the centre of my body, and... WHAT?
Wait just a second why is my core black and why does my core look entirely different to the humans' cores?
My core looked nothing like a gem, wasn't breathing, nor was it round. It's shape was constantly changing. One time it had a 3D star shape with way too many vertexes, other times it looked like a ball of water, other times like an ellipsoid, all while keeping its penetrating black matte colour.
I should have looked at this earlier. What could it be? It can't be a normal black core, I wouldn't be able to host a fricking charity for every star and planet in this damned expanding universe. I guess it's another dimension? antimatter? Maybe an antimatter dimension? Who knows. I'm pretty sure it works the same as the humans' cores.
LINDA'S POV
'I'm so happy, I could barely keep a serious face in the hospital today! Little James is just so cute! I hope he will be a mage like his big sister.'
"Hey, Emma, will you teach James some magic when he gets older?"
"Oh come on mom, you know that I'm barely decent at magic.. What could I teach him?"
"Oh come on baby, don't underestimate yourself. You're top 5 in your class!"
"Yeah, you're better than me when I was your age! I only have a light yellow core, I'm sure you'll beat me in a heartbeat!" said my husband
He can be goofy at times but he's still my darling husband afterall.
"Well yeah, but I only know tier 1 magic and some tier 2 magic." Emma said with a sad expression.
"If you want I can teach you tier 3 magic!" Said my husband suddenly.
"I had no idea you even knew tier 3 magic." I said surprised
"Yeah dad, that's awesome! I'd love for you to teach me."
JAMES' POV
I spent all night wondering what my core might be, and I think I have an idea. I have two theories, the first being a clump of antimatter where I am in a symbiotic relationship with the universe where I give it energy and it gives me antimatter or the second, better option is there being a generator of null void energy inside my core.
Null void energy (null energy for short) is essentially the fibre of the universe without which it could not exist. My energy stabilizes planets and stars while the null energy stabilizes the entire multiverse. It is also much more destructive and powerful than antimatter.
I've also been wondering what am I, since I've visited other universes and dimensions only to find out I am alone. Am I a bug or am I a feature? Is there more of me? If not then am I god? There are so many questions left unanswered.
My thinking was quickly interrupted by my sister waking up, picking me up and bringing me to the kitchen. 'I can walk by myself thank you very much' I thought, but it seems this body's physical strength is extremely low but I'll deal with that pretty soon. I don't want to use magic either since I've never used these weak spells and I wouldn't want to launch my sister into orbit. I'm not omnipotent you know.
So I got dragged into the kitchen where I was fed, my parents were confused as to why I had a clean diaper, and then my parents took me on a walk into town. We passed many houses and shops with clothing, magic clothing, food, magic food... Why is there a separate shop for clothing and magic clothing? Isn't that just wasting budget? Well, anyway, we soon walked up to the town hall and walked through a mysterious portal. 'eh, it feels weird. My teleporting is much more comfortable' I thought. When we came to the other side, there was a forest all around us with just a single path through the woods.
