On the off chance Bree did end up living through this, she would have to pretend to be someone she wasn't for the rest of her life. Since getting internet access, she had read up a lot about photography techniques and how to use photoshop so she didn't get outed so easily but she held no true interest in it.

At least she knew enough to talk about it now if Jasper asked. He knew that she tended to ramble about things so it would be weird if she couldn't talk extensively about the thing she supposedly loved most.

She was still stewing miserably in her thoughts when Jasper arrived with lunch. He looked around before calling out to her more frantically than she would have thought he was capable of.

"April? Where are you?"

"Over here," Bree said in a voice muffled by the stuffed animals on top of her.
