Rather Humiliating

Cora was being crushed under the weight of her responsibilities. She had thought high school was bad but it had nothing on college. At least her father was paying for her tuition and housing, making sure she had a food allowance as well so her focus would be entirely on her studies.

It was for the best. She didn't have time for a part-time job anyway. Even so, her classes were brutal. She was taking eighteen credits per semester and that took a serious toll on her mental and physical health.

She was nothing but an exhausted ball of nerves at this point. Deadlines slammed her constantly and she had no way to relieve her stress. Drawing didn't help the way it used to because she now had to do it for academic credit. That could take the fun out of anything.
