You Can Fix This, You Know

Whitney spent whatever free time she wasn't catering to Brad reading. She had a lot more time for it now.

Having someone to compare book recommendations with could be nice. He had never understood why she loved reading so much since he hadn't so much as touched a book once he graduated and started working.

Isaac was looking like a solid option already. She could do a lot worse than someone who loved to read. As long as she didn't see any red flags as she got to know him, she wouldn't mind having a boyfriend like him one bit. He was already better than Brad in multiple ways.

Maybe Whitney was rebounding but she really didn't want to be alone. That jerk had been all she had because the great aunt who raised her had died when she was in college.
