Demons were beings of chaos. The only rules they truly cared about following were their own. Human laws didn't matter to them at all and the only reason they followed their own was out of fear of the demon king's wrath. 

He was horribly frightening. Isaac didn't enjoy his interactions with that beast at all. Unfortunately, he didn't have a choice if he wanted to talk to his mother. 

Sighing heavily, he rubbed his forehead. "Fine. We'll wait until the autopsy is done. But do you swear that you'll actually be able to do this after she's been dead for so long? Because if we can't—"

"Don't sweat it!" Tazonor said with a wicked grin. "I've brought back hundreds of humans who had been dead far longer than your little girlfriend. Everything's going to be fine."
