I'd Do Anything For That

Sylvie Redding's biggest problem had always been that she had too much love to give. It made her forgive a lot of things that probably shouldn't be forgiven so easily.

She loved her father so she remained obedient to try and get some of his attention despite the fact that he had cheated on her mother when she was dying of cancer. She loved her half-sister even though she was the daughter of the mistress that became her stepmother solely because they were sisters and let Savannah have whatever she wanted so they could be friends. She loved her fiancé Jared so she did everything she could to support him despite not receiving much affection in return.

It was fine. Everything was fine. She was so devoid of true affection that any scrap she could get was enough. She didn't realize how bad things truly were until the day it all came crumbling down.
