I Never Go Against A Contract

Sylvie wasn't sure when she blacked out but she couldn't remember anything by the time she woke up and panicked because she definitely wasn't in her apartment. She was wearing the same clothes as yesterday but that didn't necessarily mean anything.

She had been at a bar after finding out about Jared and Savannah trying to cheat her. The last thing she remembered was sitting there talking to someone. Who? Had they brought her here?

Her head was spinning and she moaned before lying back down because she sat up too fast. The noise alerted whoever brought her here because he came into the room and offered her a glass of water in a cool tone.

"Here. This ought to help you sober up a bit."

Sylvie eyed them suspiciously. "Did you bring me here? What happened?"

"You were in no condition to be left on your own so I brought you to my place. We have business to discuss and I figured that would be better done when your head was clear."
