You Aren't A Cat Anymore

Mila couldn't believe this. She was actually talking to her cat and he was talking back to her since he was currently occupying the body of a human.

She held up her hands and shook her head as if that would recalibrate it and make this impossible situation seem less insane. "Okay, stop. I believe you. What are you doing here? I'm sorry but you died, Leo. You died in my arms. You shouldn't be in a person's body right now."

Leo frowned. "I know. I'm not sure how it happened either. First, I was floating above my body and saw a light beckon to me but you were so sad…I couldn't leave you. The light disappeared after a while and I wandered around until I woke up in this body.

"Isn't it great though? I'm back! You don't have to be sad anymore, Mila. I never have to leave you again. We can be together forever! Humans live a lot longer than cats. I'm not old and sick anymore so we can do all sorts of things together."
