Beelzebub

When Alexander awoke, he wondered if he truly had, for what he saw before him was seemed worthy of an incubus.

What the Defender of Man saw before him in Nana Smith's bedchamber seemed only half-human. He had seen a monkey on the journey to Quebec Castle with Captain Smith, a mandrill to be precise, and this thing looked as if it was a cross between man and monkey. Its skin was pink, its fur white and its small, beady eyes red. Never had Alexander ever seen such a thing before. It was a wide-shouldered beast with a broad front, fur that was on end and a huge mouth. The creature was marked in two wars: with a scar over the left eye and the middle toe of its right foot was missing. To say that the creature was massive would be untrue, but even from looking at it, Alexander could tell that it was once, but something had left it an apology of its former self. It seemed to be three feet and three inches tall.

Roxana was in the room as well, as were Alan, Gemma and Hippolyta too. The female caracal had an aggressive look upon her countenance as she stared at the creature, her ears flattened, her eyes narrowed and her back arched. The three humans, on the other hand, all looked nervous with Alan having even picked up a chair.

"C-Come on, Beelzebub..." Alan said, trying to sound calm. "Back away."

Beelzebub! Alexander had heard the appellation before! He had heard it in passing when Herr von Fell was brought up in the days following the theft of the family loving cup. If the albino chimpanzee was here, then so too was Herr von Fell, a devil, if not the Devil.

The pale troglodyte extended his right hand and placed it upon the Northern caracal's neck. Then, with a cruel smile, he proceeded to squeeze.
