Chapter 1

BEEP.BEEP.BEEP.BEEP!!

"Uugh.Snooze" sighs Rae as she slowly opens her eyes. The clock reads 6:00 am.

She shuts her eyes and covers her head with the blanket 'all nice and cozy' she thinks to herself.

30 minutes go by. Before she finally starts to wake up. Her second alarm goes off.

"Eve" Rae yawns."what's the weather like"

a female robotic voice answers " Today you can expect a high of 90 degrees and a low of 40 degrees tonight. There will be slight wind."

"Reminder: DONT FORGET TO PICK UP JEN ON THE WAY TO THE WILLOW"

'Its going to be a hot day. I wonder if Jen wants to grab a coffee'

Rae stretches and starts her day.

She makes her way to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror. she never really thought of herself as being super pretty. She is 5'6, wears glasses and has a curvaceous body. Not that anyone can tell since her clothes fit her more on the loose side.. Her hair is dark brown almost black with beautiful long curls. With hazel green eyes. She wasnt a drop dead beauty at least in her eyes. She was fairly average in her opinion.

"Ugh I should have called off."

After finishing getting ready for the day. She runs out of her apartment. On the way to work she stops to pick up her friend Jen.

Jen is a corky girl. Tall and thin. Her body pear shaped. Her shoulder length thick red hair paired with her thick black frame glasses and freckles.

Jen was Rae's best friend. Whom she considered like a sister. Jen worked as the secretary to Jaxs and Amara. Where rae worked as the receptionist and was the front man of the hotel.

5 years ago, Jen and rae first met at a local park. Rae was looking for a job and had went to the park to interview for a city job as a coach. As she was leaving the interview she noticed Jen was standing in the street with her hand out looking like she was trying to hand shake the oncoming traffic. Rae quickly ran and pulled Jen off the road before disaster had struck.

Thus the friendship began. The overly worried human became friends with an extraterrestrial just like that.

"Rae!" Jen yelled as she ran to the car. " how are you today?! Are you ready for another great day?!"

Raelene looked at Jen with a smile and the two headed out. (Yes they went for coffee and were 10 mins late. Worth it in their eyes. Not so much in Jaxs and Amaras. )
