Chapter 9

The guards escorted Chidinma and Amaka to Awal's Tenth. With kakul behind them.

On their way to Awal's tenth, they whispered to themselves

"Who would want to feel hatred towards people whose women are these beautiful?" They said to each other.

" We should kill the men fast and take all their women or they will charm the whole world" the whispered again unknown to them that Chidinma and Amaka were listening to all that they were saying.

When they arrived at Awal's tenth kakul escorted both of them leading them Into Awal's tenth.

Awal laid on his bed that was decorated with precious stones and Emeralds.

Kakul came in and informed him about Chidinma and Amaka.

"Chief there are two beautiful women outside waiting to see you they say they are from Agu kingdom they escaped for safety here," Kakul said

Immediately Awal jerked up from his bed "What? Bring them in" Awal commanded

When Chidinma and Amaka came in Awal was so astonished by their beauty specifically Chidinma he had never seen such beauty before in all his years dealing with women none has matched hers.

Chidinma and Amaka bowed down to the ground before Awal.

Kakul helped Chidinma up immediately.

"No need for that do not be afraid I would never hurt anyone willing to serve King Abu the great leader of the whole world. It is your people who refused to surrender to King Abu and also insulted me and that is why I declared war on them so now tell me why did you leave your people and come here? But don't worry you will be saved with us we have spared you and your slave's life the servants and the guards' will treat you well need no worry " Awal said.

"Thank you Chief permit me to speak to you and I will tell you the truth," Chidinma said

"Go on" He responded.

"If you follow my advice on what I have to say God will lead you to something great and your plan will not fail I swear by my life and King Abu king of the world. Because if you King Abu and hid entire kingdom will prosper we have heard how clever you are and so wise. You are indeed very skilled and strong the greatest soldier of the Trijans but sir you must know that our people cannot be defeated unless they disobey their God but need not worry because they will and once they do they will die and your plans will prevail They will soon run out of food and they will starve and want to eat the forbidden food That Their God instructed them not to once I learned all this I decided to run away with my Slavegirl I am also a religious woman so each night you will permit me to go to the forest to pray Alone and once I hear from God that they have sinned then you can match with the Trijans and take over they will not be able to fight back" Chidinma said

Awal and Kakul we're both pleased with what she said

"You are so wise and beautiful your words are like melodies in my ears," Awal said Kakul nodded in agreement.

"You are not only beautiful but know your ways with words if you do as you have promised you will leave with us in King Abu's palace and your God will be my God you will be very famous" Awal reassured her.

Chidinma was offered food and wine but she refused.

"I am so sorry but I cannot eat your food as it is against my religion I brought my food" She politely declined

"So what will you do if you run out of food?" Awal said

"I brought enough food that would last me and my servant girl until the day God's plan is carried out.

" hmm if you say so then," Awal said.

Chidinma and Amaka were escorted by the slaves into her tenth.

" we will sleep now let's rest we have a big day tomorrow," Chidinma said

"I. I am s...so scared I h..hope all works out" Amaka said frightened

" Do not be God's plan will work out all is well sleep now" she said

They both slept till the next morning. Before dawn, she got up and sent a message to Awal requesting permission to go outside the Trijan tenth to Pray in the forest.

This happened for three days and each night she would go out and bath and pray to God for guidance and them go back.

Meanwhile King Abu gathered more Trijan soldiers and guards and horses as he grew impatient he matched with his soldiers to Awal's Tenth .
