After some hours of rest, they were finally healed.
Ray twisted his arm to feel the wound bullet left. It was almost healed and left a scar. He shook his head and went to collect the demon beast's bodies.

Ray held the beast core and felt dense energy circulating through it. It was of the size of a newborn baby's head and crystalline red due to its fire attribute.
"Is this qi?" whispered Ray.

Ray's heart pained to see the beast core vanish but he was at least pleased to see a new bottle of healing potion.
"Okay, let's go home for today. Let's raid the gang's headquarters at night or tomorrow. Before that I will give you all a gift." said Ray mysteriously.
Others were curious but didn't ask about it as they followed him home.
Ray's dad: We have sufficient food stock. At least there won't be any problems in meat stock for a long time. We don't have to starve at least.
Nathan's dad: Yeah. We need some water stocks or we can make do over it with beast blood if needed.
Others also nodded as they gathered together to contemplate their future actions.
Ray's mom: Should we join the military? That will be safe for now.

Those with low levels were frustrated but kept meditating.
Ray kept encouraging and under his guidance, only those with top, high-level spiritual roots finally entered the entry-level body tempering realm. They were surprised by their soaring strength suddenly.
Nathan was the fastest and reached mid-level of body tempering realm tier 1 as he had top-grade spiritual root.
Here lied the horror of the top-grade spiritual root. While the low-level spiritual roots needed more than 1 week to sense qi.
"Don't be in a hurry to raise your level or else you will have a weak foundation. Let them be stabilized and battling is the easiest way to stabilize the cultivation level," advised Ray calmly.
Leo looked at Nathan and Lucas enviously as they succeeded in practising cultivation.
Kai patted him, "Every dog has their day! Don't be jealous."

While others were cultivating, Ray and Nathan went hunting some demon beasts in the vicinity.
Nathan was also fascinated by this newfound power and excitedly beheaded any beasts he saw. He finally found out why Ray was so thrilled while killing.
" Let's go kill those gangsters tomorrow. I plan to take seniors with me? What do you think? " asked Ray on their way home.
"Take males. Leave women for now. They can't attack human lives now. They aren't ready yet! " replied Nathan.
" You are right."
When Ray reached home, it was midnight.
"Tomorrow is going to be a bumper harvest!" thought Ray as he fell asleep.
