CHAPTER 7 She remembers

He wished he could do something to erase her memory of his horrible sight. He can't bear losing her again. "Take her back to the camp. After this shit is over, I'll go to Eshrechia."

Valerius finally looked at Raymond whose eyes were now wide open with shock. "Don't tell me that you are going meet him."

"I have to, we don't have much choice. Now when they know about her, they would do anything to hurt her." Valerius turned his back to him. "Take her back to the tent."

Raymond sighed and lifted Luna in his arms, "I just hope you don't regret this." He took her inside and placed her on the mattress.

" If you are her, then he would do anything to keep you safe this time." Saying that he vanished.

Next morning, Luna woke up with a heavy head but she remembered everything clearly what happened last night. The blood, wolf, fangs, Valerius. Huh!!? Valeriu??

She quickly turned her head to the side and found him sleeping peacefully.

The person she saw last night was him, right? But .....but there are no wounds on his body. Not even a single scratch whereas there were plenty last night. How could they heal so fast?

She saw his beautiful face with no flaws at all and her expression changed into a soft one and the frown on her face vanished.

Suddenly Valerius opened his eyes and she turned her face back. The frown returned.

"Staring again?" He got up and sat beside her.

However Luna didn't replied and reached for her jacket. She wore it and went outside.

He couldn't calculate her actions. He was afraid if she still remember the scenes. He was restless knowing she isn't talking of responding to him. Maybe she is running away and don't want to face him. What if she thinks that he will hurt her. These feelings are making him worried.

"Hey Luna, Good morning!" Kiara came to her with a plate on her hand.

"Good morning Kiara." She smiled faintly.

"What happened? Are you sick?" Kiara asked worriedly. "No no, I am just having a little headache. Maybe because of the mattress." She replied, she can't risk telling her about it. What if the things she saw was just a nightmare and not real.

But still, she has to stay away from him and notice his actions. Cause if he is really not a human, then not only her but many people are in danger.

She saw Valerius and Raymond talking about something. They both were looking damn serious and can't seem to notice her. Luna thought of taking advantage of the situation and listened to their conversation.

She slowly went near them and pretended to be on a call.

"Val are you serious? Please, don't go." Raymond pleaded

"I am hella serious. You don't know what the consequences could be if..."

Raymond noticed Luna's presence and stopped Valerius from speaking further. "What? Why did you stop me?"

Raymond gestured him to look back. He turned and see Luna talking to someone on the phone. Thank God! He stopped him.

"Let's talk later." Raymond said and went to have his breakfast. While Valerius stood there staring at Luna. After a few seconds he went towards her and stood behind her back.

"Is the network good here." He whispered in her ears and Luna jumped in shock.
