I sat on the couch and dug into the beef and broccoli. Despite being pregnant and already having cravings, I really hadn't eaten much while Trent was missing. I had a feeling I'd make up for that now, though.
"Did Colt tell you about Karina?" I asked, reaching for the rice.
"No." Trent shook his head. "As soon as we were out of Yolanda's, my only priority was getting home to you. We didn't exactly catch up on things." He bit into a spring roll, chewed, then swallowed. "Though, Jax did tell me about you calling him."
I held my breath, waiting for Trent to say more, but he didn't. I took a drink, then said, "Apparently, Colt and Whitney have been hooking up."
Trent jerked his head toward me, eyes wide. "Colt and Whitney?" he asked, his tone reflecting the same exact shock I'd felt when I heard the news.
