"I should go hunting more often if that's the welcome home I'm going to get," Trent said, fighting to catch his breath.
Rolling off him, I flopped onto my back and shoved my hair out of my face. "Or just buy me gifts," I said, gently elbowing him.
He laughed. "Speaking of gifts, we should do our Christmas shopping today, too." He rolled onto his side and propped his head in his hand. "Do you want to have Christmas here?" he asked.
"Abby said Aunt Beth already called dibs on doing Christmas dinner," I said. "Oh, and she wants all of us to go to that place we went last year on Christmas Eve - the place with all the barns and lights. It's a family tradition, I guess."
For the life of me, I couldn't remember the name of it, but I could easily picture it in my mind. That was the night Isach had told me there was a possibility of having a baby with Trent, and now, I was pregnant. Funny how much can change in a year.
