"We could split up," Jax suggested. "Half of us stay here to face Rector while the other half goes to the cabin."
"No." Sean shook his head. "We can't spare anyone when it comes to facing Rector. We all need to be here."
We'd moved back upstairs, mostly so none of us would be tempted to kill Dante. Without his help, I didn't see any way we could defeat the vampire army. And standing in the living room trying to figure out a new plan wasn't helping. We should be doing something. My family was in danger, and I wasn't doing a damn thing.
"I'll give Dante my magic," Isach said.
I jerked my head in his direction. "No way. He'll already be too dangerous with an entire army at his disposal. If you give him your magic, he'll be unstoppable."
"I wouldn't give it to him permanently," Isach said. "I can transfer it temporarily. Just long enough to let him think he has full access, and then I take it back."
"And then you'll be powerless against your coven," Trent said. "That's suicide."
