Chapter Twelve: A depressed knight and a shy vampire

After talking about Haoyu's sacred gear and Azazel checking on it soon it was time to leave. On the way out Haoyu caught a glimpse of Kokabiel standing off to the side glaring at him. For now Haoyu just ignored him after all without his help how would Haoyu have an excuse to turn Raynare in to his slave. Done thinking about Kokabiel he looked to where Vali was wondering how she will turn out.

Qin Chao: Alright Azazel I had better get going otherwise my darling wife will kick my ass thinking I was cheating.

Azazel: True for all of her confidence Avrora can still be quick paranoid and jealous at times.

With the life long friends having said go bye the father-son duo teleported back to the Gremory mansion. When they appeared Grayfia was standing there with a slight bow to greet them.

Grayfia: Welcome back sirs, lady Avrora is currently have lunch with the lord, lady and young misses.

Following Grayfia to the dinning room the duo sat down joining everyone else as they ate. As Haoyu was waiting for his plate he looked over to the new addition to group a blonde haired young girl. Her hair was cut short going her air kind of tomboyish feeling. She sat at the table quietly eating with a dark expression on her face. Sensing Haoyu's gaze she looked up at him with a glare as if he stole all of her money. Still he did not get mad and simply smiled back at her.

Avrora: So they dear how was your talk with Az kun will little Yu's newly awaken familiar clash with his sacred gear.

Qin Chao: According to Azazel the familiar is actually acted in a way to shows respect to the gear. Regardless everything from here on out will completely depend on Haoyu.

Hearing that Avrora visibly relaxed showing just how serious it was if Haoyu's familiar and sacred gear clashed. While everyone else was amazed by the fact that no problems occurred Haoyu knew the truth. Just after he awakened his familiar the sisters also began to stir. Later that same night he healed Fujimai they pulled him into a virtual environment. Once he arrived both parties asked him to help settle their argument. What was the argument simple it was over which of them is more useful. Haoyu could not believe that they were actually wasting time on something like this. So he decided to have them fight to get this over with and move on. The winner of course were Li Yun and Hua Rui ,who represented the dragon sisters. One of them is a dragon well know for their physical strength and the other is known for their talent in fighting. Since then Haoyu's familiar has held a deep respect to the sisters.

Back to the meal the duos food finally arrived so they joined everyone in eating. As they did conversation filled the table. Everyone was laughing having a good time, everyone except one person. No longer able to take the silence anymore Haoyu spoke up.

Haoyu: So is anyone going to introduce the new addition to our dinning group or should I pretend she is not here.

When Haoyu finished talking all the girls at the table cracked a smile as if they succeeded in pulling a prank. Everyone except the blonde beauty.

Rias: To answer your question this is Kiba Yuuki and she from this day forward will be serving as my knight.

Haoyu nodded his head to Rias's words refusing to be surprised by anything in this world anymore. Yet again that damned God changed into yet another male character female. Still Haoyu had to admit that this change earned his gratitude because he preferred a female Kiba. Either way it already is what it is so he can do nothing about it. From the looks of Yuuki she must have just been saved by Rias so her emotional wounds must still be fresh. Haoyu not wanting to see such a sad face spoke up.

Haoyu: You know I often spar with Souji from Sirzechs's peerage so if you want a sparing partner I wouldn't mind doing it myself.

Haoyu's words seemed to have gotten the depressed knight's attention because when she heard him her head flew up. The look in her eyes conveyed complete disbelief. After all from what she was told Souji is one of the most skilled swordsmen in the underworld. As a matter of fact her training started earlier with Souji demonstrating his strength. It was so overwhelming that Yuuki quickly beg to receive his teaching. Since it has only been one day so far she has only learned the basic stances. Originally she thought she would learn Souji's Tennen Rishin-Ryu but that was not the case. Instead Souji is planning on teaching her the basics and letting her develop her own school of fighting. Still if there is a chance that he is as good as he says then she will of course accept his challenge. Nodding her head Yuuki stood from the table showing her willingness to fight. Haoyu ,never being one to hesitate much, also got to his feet and followed behind her. Everyone else decided to joy the fun also.

The two quickly made their way to the training arena where Souji was seated enjoying a drink. When Souji saw his newly acquired disciple and Haoyu walking up an understanding smile appeared on his face.

Souji: It is quite the honor to see you again young master are you planning on sparing with my new pupil.

Haoyu: Hey Souji great to see you too and yeah we are planning on doing some light sparing. After all her gloomy expression was slowly beginning to get on my nerves.

Haoyu's off-hand comment seemed to have struck a nerve because Yuuki's originally solemn face turned angry. In her entire life there has been someone with so much arrogance before. Not able to stand Haoyu much longer she walked to the weapon rank to grab a practice sword. Before she could however Haoyu reached out a hand to stop her.

Haoyu: How about we use our own swords for this spur ,and don't worry I promise not to hurt you.

Just as those words came out of Haoyu's mouth everyone else finally caught up with them. In the group there was actually a new addition of a blonde hair girl with red eyes. Haoyu seeing her already knew that she must be the genderbent Gaspar with nothing that much changed. Looks like the Gremory peerage's depressed knight and shy vampire have both finally appeared.
