Chapter Thirteen: Years Later

Time has yet again moved forward as Haoyu and his group haz grown up even more. Now Haoyu is a third year at Kuoh Academy along with Rias and Akeno. It has been a really peaceful few years with Haoyu continuing to get strong and more skilled. Right now he has already masterd the power of his ghost General avatar which is simply to cut. His control of his Evil king sword has also reached the point where just a shadow can cut through the defense of high rank devils. He even improved his control over the nine dragon ring. Where before he could only use the power of one dragon at a time now he can use two or three. Now that Ayako has reached her second year the events from Highschool DxD began to slowly develop. For example fallen angels have been pouring in from somewhere with Raynare being the leader. So far they have only occasionally attacked humans and most of them have been criminals.

Since that was the case Haoyu decided to ignore them for the time being because of Asia has not yet made her appearance. Besides with his current strength going against cardinal level fallen angels is actually a snap. Thus his days of going to school and hanging out with the Gremory peerage continued. That is until one day when he was walking down the street. As he was walking he caught sight of Raynare who disguised herself as Yuma. She was with some guy that looked like a stereotypical punk. At first Haoyu planed to ignore her after all he wasn't exactly the hero type. Of course he would help women and children without hesitation but when I comes to men they were on their on. Right when he was about to leave he sensed a powerful barrier being formed. The strength of this barrier was not something Raynare could do so he went to check out what was going on.

Once inside he found the fallen angel fighting her hardest against a hooded figure wielding a syth. Obviously Raynare's opponent is a grim reaper and high

level one at that. This royally pissed Haoyu off because in the originally storyline Hades was a complete asshole. Especially with how he had always went on about how dangerous sacred gears are. But then he turned around trying to make super devils most of watch were criminally insane. Hypocrite Hades was Haoyu's favorite nickname for him. Regardless since this reaper dared to appear in his(Rias)turf then they can expect not to leave. So Haoyu made his move just before Raynare received a fatal strike. He appeared in front of her blocking the reaper's attack shocking both of them.

Haoyu: Well well I never thought that a skeleton would have the courage to attack someone in my turf. Hades must have sent you since must of you reapers are spineless without his backing.

Raynare was once more shocked with the pride arrogant words coming from Haoyu's mouth. He not only insulted all grim reapers everywhere but also their most precious master. When she looked at the reaper to see their response rage seemed to pour from their body. With a voice that was hard to tell whether they are male or female they said.

Reaper: I am surprised that you are so arrogant when your only claim to power is your father and mother.

Those words from the grim reaper earn a true deep and boisterous laugh from Haoyu. The laugh sounded as though he heard one of the funniest jokes in his entire life. If others were around some of them would even think he is crazy with how hard he laughed. Finally getting himself to stop laughing Haoyu wiped the tears from his face as he spoke.

Haoyu: Now that has to be the single most hilarious things I have ever heard since I was a kid. Do you really think a man who made a name for himself with only his fist Would raise a weak son. I mean come on. Never in my life have I heard of a father that doesn't want their kid to follow their footsteps. No matter as a thanks for the laugh I decided to kill you quickly.

Saying that a sword made of some kind of completely black material appeared in his hand. This sword was not his familiar but rather an abilities of his Netherworldly Ghost General avatar. The blade of the sword emitted a cold and decilant aura that told the world none shall live. Before anyone could react Haoyu swung his sword cutting the reaper in half. At first they were unconcerned with the wound because reapers are technically deathless. As perk for working for Hades they would revive in the underworld whenever they died. Right as they were feeling proud of themselves the reaper sensed a problem. Seeing the look on their face Haoyu spoke once more.

Haoyu: Not many know this but your master Hades actually fears my dad and the reason for it is this blade.

As he spoke Haoyu raised the sword which is closer to a knife to show to reaper before continuing to talk.

Haoyu: You see this blade was created using the power of my Netherworldly Ghost General avatar. My avatar's main ability is to create a special engery that is actually extra lethal the souls and spiritual bodies. In other words it not only cuts your body but your soul as well.

Done talking Haoyu stood there silently waiting the reaper to finish processing his words. When they finally understood what had happened the reaper simply died without making a sound. Haoyu looked down at the dead reaper's body and snapped his fingers sending out a spark. Once the body come in contact with the spark it consumed by white flames. Raynare stood at the side slacked jawed having difficulties believing what just happened. A grim reaper known for being near immortal and difficult to kill just died without even knowing what is going on.
