Prologue

Twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are. Up above----

I groaned, while trying to get a hold of my noisy phone on the side table beside me. Arrgggg, I'm still sleepy, please let me sleep oh dear. I turned off my phone.

"Sandra wake up!!! It's already 7. You'll be late for school." Mommy Joan shouted from downstairs.

I just covered my head with the pillow and lay flat faced on the bed, muffling my protests to wake up.

My bedroom door opened and I can hear light footsteps that I know to be of Mom's. Hays.

"What is it dear? Don't you feel well? Can you go to school? Hmmm.? "my Mom said to me, caressing my head through her hands as she touched my neck and forehead to see if I'm okay.

Aww, my Mom is so sweet.

"I'm fine Mom, it's just that I'm still sleepy and schools really starts early." I explained to her.

"Okay, you can just go back to sleep right after school, hmm? So, fix yourself already and come downstairs for breakfast okay? Now go!", Mom said as she tickled me so I have no choice but to get up and drag my lazy ass to the bathroom.

Whatta a day!

I looked into the mirror and gasp! My bed hair is so freaking messy like the birds partied into my hair last night! Arghh! I went to the shower and began my concert. Ha!

"Hey bitch! You're waking up the damn neighborhood with your ugly voice. SHUT UP! "my eldest sister, Elaine shouted from outside and my other two sisters laughed with her.

What the—my voice? Ugly? Don't they know that my voice is the next Lea Salonga?

Hmmp.

Maybe they're just jealous that I have the golden voice among the family. I understand the envy and I don't hate them for that.

I still adore them.

Hehe.

"Hi guys! So, what's for breakfast? "I asked.

My other elder sister, Elizabeth sarcastically joked, "P**p and Pee"

Mom slapped her mouth. "Watch what you're talking, you're in front of the food"

"Sorrryyyyyyyy!!!!!", she said and exhaled loudly.

"Hey, stop that", Elcar, the youngest butted in. "You're being disrespectful"

"Your sister is right, be respectful at least in front of the food", Mom said as she started to settle herself in the dining table.

Elcar smugly looked at her two elder sisters who just glared at her. "Yeah be like me, I'm respectful and polite", and "bleeh" out her tongue at them while Mom is not looking.

I just sighed and ignored their banter. I settled in the table and prayed for the food. We started to eat and expected it won't be peaceful with the three in the same place.
