"Goodbye Mom!", I bid my farewell as well as my other sisters and kissed her cheeks.
We rode on each car, but not me. I'm with a chauffeur/driver/guard and female butler, Nana Cora a 25-year old beautiful maiden.
I am frail and sickly ever since I was a kid. They believed I need to be looked out and watched for especially that I faint out of nowhere due to my weak heart.
I wanted to protest and tell them that I can carry out myself but I respect their wishes that I need to be taken care of.
I snapped out of my reverie when I arrived at school.
By the way I'm already in 11st grade at King's University in London. As per the name suggests, only elite and with high social ranking and class can go to this institution. My mom is an ambassador so yeah—
I really don't like anything with high class and society that deals with popularity whatsoever. Like how simple I am, I also want simple things. But you can't see that by the way I dress.
Of course, fashion is a must even though I want simplicity, I also want to be presentable but not over the boundaries.
Like today, I am in my fav pink tank top with black blazers, along with black pants and three-inch-high heels. I am currently using Hermes backpack with a clutch over my shoulders to put my phone, money and powder, lip gloss and Juicy perfume- cheap but it is really fragrant, I swear.
I went out of the car and just keep nodding my head for every rule and the do's and don't(s) Nana always remind me about. I've already memorized everything -no need for repetition.
1. Go to class directly. Do not engage with anyone suspicious.
2. During lunch go directly to Nana. Do not buy from cafeteria. We don't know what food may contaminate her.
3. During breaks or when the teacher is not around, do not wander. If she wanted to go to Elcar, inform Nana first.
4. After class dismissal, go directly to the car or wait for Nana and the driver, especially when sometimes they are not always around since they have other thing to tend to.
5. Do not go with someone when invited. Permission is a must.
Like of a leash huh? But I understand. It's all for my welfare.
Besides, I just need to finish school and I will be free soon. For now, I need to understand them 'cause I know they're doing it for my sake.
I bid farewell to them and entered the huge school gate. So majestic and tall like of a palace gate.
"Good morning!" I greeted the guard cheerfully with a smile as if I had taken my dose of happy pill, and bow down my head a little as a sign of respect.
"Good morning milady" the guard greeted back. I smiled and went forward.
Green grass welcomed me with a very big and grandiose tree in the middle, sort of like a park. The field was really wide. Surrounding it are the tall buildings of classrooms. There's a sparkling fountain surrounding the tree. Flowers bloom along the benches on the sides where students can sit and enjoy their leisure time. So many things to say be awed by the surroundings, but it's gonna waste my time so---
I smiled and continued my way.
The hallways were packed with students rushing to their classrooms. Murmurs and gossips were flying away. Some students were also flirting despite school protocols. I just ignored them and drown myself into a daydream.
I was walking absentmindedly along the hallway to my class, when I suddenly got bumped to a tall and hard figure. I stumbled and fell right to the floor with my things scattered before my eyes.
"WHY THE F*CK DID YOU BUMP ON ME FREAK?", a loud thunderous voice rumbled through the hallway snapping me out of my thoughts.
